My self-summary
My grandfather once told me that you become like those around whom you surround yourself. Actually his exact words were “You do like you’re raised.”
I have learned that the little things in life are often overlooked, but often turn out to be the most important.
I am well aware of the differences between infatuation, lust, love and companionship. The first is exciting but short lived and often tragic. My dream is to discover that the latter three can co-exist.

“Live life so completely that when death comes to you like a thief in the night, there will be nothing left for him to steal".
What I’m doing with my life
Work hard, play hard!
(Ironically, I recently read on a blog that those words *specifically* should never be used on a profile! Ha!
Problem is, it's the truth; I pour myself into my work because I really enjoy it, and I approach my free time the same way.)
I’m really good at
I once defused a limited yield thermonuclear device while playing "Bohemian Rhapsody" on a harmonica. But it was a small one.

The harmonica
The first things people usually notice about me
My dashing good looks, my astonishing wit and charm; oh, and my uncanny ability to effortlessly defuse thermonuclear devices. That and my understated humility.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Pygmy, The Brain That Changes Itself, Altered Carbon, Keeping It Real; My Cousin Vinny, The Princess Bride, The Boondock Saints, The Chronicles of Riddick (yeah, I know);shows :-(; big hair rock, alternative, grunge-pretty much anything but opera and country; nutty bars are crack cocaine and must be avoided at all costs
Six things I could never do without
Let's just say that I'm flexible.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How things work. Nerd. Right. Already took the test.
On a typical Friday night I am
That's the thing. I don't do "typical". Routine is the death of the soul. (surely that's a quote.; somebody should've said that a long time ago)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That I'll happily tell you whatever you'd like to know; just ask.
You should message me if
-you sometimes have to suppress the overwhelming urge to burst into song
-you've thought about what purple tastes like
-if you can't wait for Groot to grow up
-wherever you're going is someplace you haven't been yet
-you've ever had an air bath
-fractals are a thing
-if you prefer to hold a conversation with someone without typing it
-the idea of a Wartenberg wheel piques your interest
-you've ever wondered why people are so hung up about so much stuff
-Edward Van Halen and David Draiman make you smile
-you've pondered why clothes caught on
-you're pretty sure which droids you're looking for
-now you're really intriqued
The two of us
