I'm interested in Japanese culture and the Japanese language and would love to one day become a translator and interpreter, my dream-jobs.
I'm also quite geeky, enjoy video games when I have the time and love getting my hands on shiny tech.
I think I'm a bit of an old-school romantic. Long walks on the beach are great, but snuggling up next to someone special on the couch is my idea of a good time.
I am fun-loving, quirky, and cute (^_^;
I've recently returned to Australia, and am still in the process of finding my 'Aussie feet' once again.
I don't know that I have a favourite book - I pretty much like any sort of fiction. Actually, I'm in need of a new good book, so if you can recommend one... (^_-)
[Movies & Shows]
Depends on my mood, I guess. I tend to watch TV Shows more often, and really like comedy such as Family Guy, The Office (UK version..), Extras and Futurama. I also enjoy the comedic antics of Dawn French (Vicar of Dibley) and Jennifer Saunders (Let Them Eat Cake, which starred both wonderful ladies). Oh, and two other shows that I've discovered are Bob's Burgers and Ugly Americans, both animated shows and hi-larious.
I think I'd definitely count Portishead and Florence and the Machine as my two favourite bands. I have a pretty ecclectic taste though, ranging from Rock to Downbeat to Classical (minor key = win. Oh, as is European 'Gypsy' music). Ooh, I also love Drum n' Bass, great stuff! Roni Size and Carl Cox are brilliant.
I'm definately a big fan of Japanese cuisine. I think that Takoyaki is the best thing since...well, that it's the best.
