My self-summary
Recently moved back to Michigan. I spent the past 7 months living/working in Germany and spent a lot of time traveling around Europe!

I'm a rockstar in the kitchen! I enjoy having friends over for dinner parties and cookouts. I try and cook with fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients. You can find me exploring Eastern Market and other various ethnic markets around the city to find delicious treats! There's nothing better than getting people together to make great food, drink wine, and have interesting conversations!

I'm fascinated by cultures around the world and love to travel. I'll be exploring the streets and back alleys, strolling through museums, or laying on pink sand beaches. I love to discover the local food culture while traveling. I can be happy eating breakfast on a plastic stool in streets of Taiwan or dining at one of the top Michelin star restaurants in Spain.
What I’m doing with my life
I work on a test track driving cars. How cool is that?! I'm proud to work on systems that save lives everyday. When I'm not busy saving lives, I'm working on a degree in culinary arts.

In my spare time I'm an avid photographer and race car driver. I also like to run, ski, SCUBA dive, play volleyball, tennis, bike, kayak...

I believe in staying active and fit (mostly so I can eat all the delicious foods) so I do crossfit 4-5 times a week. Haha.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Listen: Little bit of everything. Lots of indie rock. NPR. No country.

Watch: Anthony Bourdain, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, 30 Rock, Good Eats, Iron Chef, OITNB, Newsroom, NOVA.

Likely reading a cookbook of some kind at all times but also recently finished 1Q84 by Murakami. Next up, Infinite Jest, by David Foster Wallace.

I love food and will try anything at least once. I will search out new restaurants near and far. I don't mind going a good distance for a good meal. How adventurous are you? Let's try something together!

I have a great appreciation for art and anything made by hand. There is something really amazing about someone who can still make something by hand in this age of mass production. Even something as simple as making a great loaf of bread can be an art form in itself.
The six things I could never do without
1. Croissants
2. Anything made with coconut
3. Freshly roasted coffee
4. Craft beers
5. Big red wines
6. Puppies
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I'm going to cook next or where I'm going to travel next...
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with friends, dinner parties, trying new restaurants, driving to a different city...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've never taken a shirtless selfie.
You should message me if
You love traveling and foodie adventures!
