My self-summary
What is Whitney Houston's favorite coordination?

My Patronus is a toaster.

I love making things. I know lots of random facts. I talk a lot.

I am a huge nerd. D&D, LARPing, Ren Faires, cosplay, the whole nine yards. Talk nerdy to me!
What I’m doing with my life
I currently have an Associate's of Science in Electrical Computer Engineering Technology. I'm working full time in middle management. Super exciting.

I run a decently successful leather working shop, ride horses (poorly), and carry a metal detector through this mine field known as LGBT.
I’m really good at
Archery, making things, holding conversations with cats.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am quick to laugh and always have a story to share.

... or my chin. Apparently I am part Leno.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Anything by John Green, Patrick Rothfuss, Laurell K. Hamilton, or Stephen King.

I enjoy movies of the comedy, romance, and action-adventure genre. I'll usually watch anything provided it isn't overly gory.

TV shows that make the list are Supernatural, Once Upon a Time, Gravity Falls, old Cartoon Network programs, Firefly, Bones, HIMYM, Scrubs, and many goofy sitcoms. I really like anime and have been rewatching Sword Art Online for the fiftieth time.

When I have time (sometimes rarely) I love to cook big meals. I love to bake and create new dishes from old ones.
(Pssst ask me about my "Everything Good in the World Brownies!")

I enjoy all kinds of music (Cue eye rolls on this particular cliche). I'm really enjoying the new stuff from Paramore (as well as a lot of the old stuff). Basically I was raised on rock and roll, transitioned into that rebellious punk/screamo/alt phase. In college I was inundated with pop songs and now I have an appreciation for everything.
Six things I could never do without
Hmmmm... tough question...

1) Various Italian cheeses
2) My tools
3) Good conversation
4) A bottle of rhubarb wine
5) My costumes (Sometimes we all need to pretend we're someone else for a change)
6) Kitties!

And for a change of pace, the six things I could do without.

1) Mushrooms
2) Reality TV
3) Pet dander
4) Not being rich
5) My nervous tics
6) People who think it's ok to treat others like crap just because they work retail/fast food/IT
I spend a lot of time thinking about
LGBT issues, sociology, and cosplays.

My mind takes some interesting leaps. We could be talking about what to eat and my mind's path goes a little like this:

Hmmmm, I'm in the mood for Italian ==> Who invented spaghetti? ==> I wonder if their name was Linguine... ==> "Hey guys, do you think ducks can feel their bills?"

This is often met with concerned looks.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either working or playing with my kittens. I lead an exciting life.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My greatest fear is being alone. Not necessarily "alone" as in without a partner, but actually, physically, by myself.
You should message me if
You love the outdoors!
You love nerds!
You aren't afraid to try new things!

In short, I want to meet new people that share my interests. Even if OkCupid says, "Y'all got issues," I still would like to hear from you!

Please refrain from sending me one word messages like "Hi" or "Hey." I don't respond to these and find it kind of annoying. Be creative! I respond much more to people who put thought into what they're saying.

Also, if you got the joke at the top we need to be friends. :D
The two of us
