My self-summary
level 7 black mage web developer and musician by day, budding pun enthusiast by night.
What I’m doing with my life
figuring it out, building web tools, writing and playing funky tunes to shake one's booty to and trying not to take things too too seriously.
I’m really good at
music and the interwebs
The first things people usually notice about me
that I'm not bald but cultivating a look of hairlessness
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
there's just too much stuff for this but recently I've been reading "where we stand: class matters" by bel hooks on my commutes that aren't on a longboard. I've become infatuated with mumbai science's tune "models" because of how strikingly similiar it is to daft punk's "teachers" (but worlds more interesting cuz it's not just a bunch of dude names rolled off by two dudes) and gladys night and the pips' version of "heard it through the grape vine" will forever remain the only version that matters to me.

this [sister rosetta tharpe] is pretty cool too.
The six things I could never do without
when these six things reveal themselves to me, I'll be sure to enumerate them here.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
crontab jobs, did that rpi always smell like that or did I just toast it? this. the enduring success of nickelback. am I who I am because I want to be, because I have to be or some other reason entirely? why playing and singing with guitar is so much easier than doing the same with bass. did I run those mercurial commands in the correct sequence? terror management theory (through no fault of my own, apparently). and constructive ways to let friends, acquaintances and colleagues know that not only do social justice issues exist but that having to explain/validate the existence of said issues is emotionally vexing. [last one is hella current]
On a typical Friday night I am
looking for something interesting to do.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
my latest composition: "lullaby bass"
