My self-summary
There are few things I enjoy more than making my friends cry with hysterical laughter. I also enjoy learning as much as I can fathom so if there's anything I could learn from you then do let me know...

Some unique things about me:

- Fallen into a canal and swimming pool (without being drunk)
- Unintentionally broken the law in 3 countries
- Once exceeded every RDA/GDA with Jaffa Cakes
- Slept overnight in the Atlas mountains without a sleeping bag
- I am mentioned in the British Library
- Been on Sky News
- Had two hip replacements before the age of 18
- Met the Queen
What I’m doing with my life
- Actively involved with my church
- Investing time in people, friends and family
- Working for a charity that uses light aircraft to take Christ's hope to remote regions across the globe
I’m really good at
Eating, socialising, sleeping, showering and over using exclamation marks!
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm genuinely and irrevocably unique with a preceding reputation to match
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I love the rich and nuanced layers of The Bible (duh) not least for it's ability to bring the dead to life! Matthew Henry is one of my favourite commentators as I find him to be thorough but not too systematic and he is constructive in his reflections about the Bible's implications for the church of the past, his present and our present. Also I'm a bit of a Wikipedia addict if that counts which I guess it doesn't but the quality and amount of information that can be so easily accessed on there should be savoured as much as possible if you ask me.

Films: Matchstick Men, Zoolander, Tropic Thunder, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Princess Bride, Snow Cake (Alan Rickman plays the lead!), Eternal Sunshine of A Spotless Mind, Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, Melancholia, As Good As It Gets and Four Lions - probably the funniest film I have ever seen. Plus let's not forget childhood classics like Short Circuit, Batteries Not Included and Flight of The Navigator!
Simply cannot tolerate: Day After Tomorrow and Love Actually

'Shows': Pretty much anything involving Bear Grylls, Arrested Development and Lost are old favourites and I am a big fan of the updated version of Master Chef! I know it counts as boring and the kind of thing your dad would watch but I love documentaries too.

Music: Unfortunately this is just turning into a list now; Jason Mraz, Death Cab For Cutie, Jamie Scott and The Town, Black Stone Cherry, Maroon 5, Snow Patrol the usual contemporary Christian stuff like Hillsong, Matt Redman, Gateway Worship (doesn't sound like a good idea to me), Bethel and Jesus Culture (although, strangely, I've gone off Chris Tomlin a bit) but I'm especially going through a Rend Collective Experiment phase at the moment.
Shameful weakness for: James Morrison and Daniel Beddingfield...

Food: Oh my golly now we're talking; Indian, Mexican, Cajun, roasts, cheesecake, ice-cream, pizza, olives, teryaki chicken, sushi and sandwiches are somewhat a speciality of mine!
Least favourite... Fish head curry (including eyeball), cold beans and I think it'll be a long time before I have Golden Pheonix Chicken again...

Excuse me while I just add a section for sandwiches: Chicken cordon bleu (in breadcrumbs) with sweet chilli sauce; curried fish and salsa (possibly due to a hungry day in Morocco); bacon, tomato sauce and vegetable fingers; teriyaki chicken; and chorizo, chicken and relish.
Six things I could never do without
Sleep, food, occupation... umm... a comfy seat... an abacus
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My reflection
On a typical Friday night I am
Spending time with friends, having a laugh, eating good food and watching films
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Cotton wool is abhorrent to me
You should message me if
you dare!
