My self-summary

What I’m doing with my life

I’m really good at
cooking, conversation, appearing to be knowledgeable, being knowledgeable, finding parking spaces, applied cynicism

Food geek. You know the type. Please let me know if you have a sous-vide setup I can try out. Big fan of pho and thai, since we're on the subject.
Six things I could never do without
vision correction, my hilariously oversized collection of nutritional supplements and nootropics, like minded people, pastured eggs, information

Four things I would do without: people who don't use turn signals, gluten, the dude who honks for my neighbor to come down at 1 am, fascism.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
the possibility that we are all time travelers, the possibility that aliens are time travelers and UFOs are time machines, the omega point/transcendental object at the end of time, evolutionary psychology, metaphysics, the perfection of the human condition, the Church of the Sub-Genius "theology," technology, synchronicity, cosmology, food, basic income, fringe culture, consumerism, psychoanalysis, gnosticism, panpsychism and panentheism

oh and sex
On a typical Friday night I am
probably working or maybe at a lecture on Jung
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've been on OKC since 2004ish. deleted a few profiles along the way, been on some awful dates, and met some amazing people. I'm just happy to be here.
