My self-summary
One of the few Americans born in DC. I was a wild child growing up, got into a some trouble here and there, yet not enough to totally fuck my life up. After my outlaw teenage years and a brief stint in college, I joined the Marines to get some discipline and direction, as well as do something so for more than just than myself. I made it through that ordeal and got out as well travelled, well rounded, open minded, and a funtional member of society. For all intents and purposes, I am full grown man with his shit together. I live for thrill and adventure and do what I can to better the lives of those around me. I love traveling to new and exotic locals and go through life with a fearless mindset and I would love nothing more than to find a partner who feels the same!
What I’m doing with my life
Currently a student of geology at ACC with plans to transfer into UT to eventuallty become a Petroleum Geologist. I'd prefer to focus on acting or seeking alternative energy, but after years of researching, I've determined that this course of action fulifills my desires of making enough money to allow myself and future family to live comfortably, and for my future kids to graduate college debt free. It also aligns with my personal values, and doesnt waste the oppportunity I've been given from the militarty to recieve a free education. That being said, I am still open to persuing new opprtunities should I change my mind over the course of the next 5-7 years. Time shall tell the tale! I'm also looking forward to the day I rescue a Maine Coon cat 😸
I’m really good at
Making people laugh, bringing out the fun adventurous side of people, and teaching people how to shoot guns. Games like scrabble and trivial pursuit(my supply of random facts and information is forever growing) and feeling at home whether I'm walking through the city, driving through the country, strolling along the beach or hiking up and down a mountain, or tearing down said mountain on a snowboard or downhill mountain bike. I consider myself a bit of a social chameleon in this regard since I can feel at home around a bon fire with dip spitting rednecks or suited up at some sort of high brow function with the ultra privileged types, yet somehow, never really feel like I belong in either. My extensive world travel and military experince often makes me feel like I don't really fit in everwhere but at the same time allows me to relate to the mass majority of people I meet. It's a weird dichotomy, still trying to figure it all out haha.
The first things people usually notice about me
The last decade has proven that I immediately come off as a threatening individual. I'm reletively big and my voice is deep. Many people find me intimidating at first because of my hard stare and military demeanor, the "the serial killer look" it's been called, I know it would help if I smiled more, however if and when people get over that they find me to be a very likable individual. I spent my youth as hippie, but as life would have it, I ended up being a spectacular Marine. After my stint as a gov't slave, I spent four years in the civilian world working for a large and diverse company which for lack of a better term, "chilled me the fuck out". By all means, I'm lover not a fighter but have no qualms fighting for what I love. Additionally, my friends describe me as the realest person they've ever met. I'm very open and not afraid to tell it like it is. I don't act fake or put on a front for anybody, I am who I am and If you can't accept that then move on out of my way. I always try to find the humor in things and while that might make it seem that I don't take life too seriously, I know when to be an adult and when to joke around.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I am an avid reader but these days my reading has been regulated to school work :-( I have read many books in my time mostly, adventure, comedy and non fiction, some of my favorite authors are Clive Cussler, Vince Flynn and Tucker Max.

I love movies! Favorite movies include Mad Max: Fury Road, Snatch, Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, Zach and Miri make a Porno, Get him to the Greek, Blow, The Dark Knight, Requiem for a Dream, Blood Diamond, Lord of War, The Devils Rejects, Law Abiding Citizen, and a whole lot more.

Southpark is really about the only show I religously follow, but The Walking Dead, Archer, Bob's Burgers, Always Sunny in Philidelphia, and Tosh.O are all honorable mentions. Also, if you can pick up on my Chappelle's Show references, I might love you forever.

Music wise, Rage against the Machine will always hold top spot, followed by classic rock and hip-hop. Old country and bluegrass is great but pop country and punk music makes me seriously contemplate suicide. Techno was the shit back in my extasy days but this new EDM is somewhat lost on me. New rap is 90% garbage but the tween years produced the pop best music to date (Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, etc). Bring back Ke$ha and that area music might get back to its glory days. Essentially, if it doesnt make me want to rock out, dance like no one is looking, or cry my eyes out due to the passion of the performance or the lyrics, I'm probally not into it.

All about seafood, steaks, gourmet cheese, European food, Mediterranean food, and Bacon.
Six things I could never do without
While this question is a little different for me to answer, since I have lived without creature comforts at all for many months while deployed to combat zones, things I really missed were:

Good friends
Good food
A car/freedom to travel
Top shelf bourbon
Fresh air
Humor
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How awesome it would be to have enough capital to start my own independent nation. The human condition/human nature. How can I make this(everything and anything) funnier? How can I seek self improvement? How come we all just can't get along?
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging with friends and raging because life is too short to be boring!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I hold nothing in private. You got the balls to ask, I got the balls to answer.
You should message me if
You made it this far and I haven't scared you off lol even better if you're actually intrigued!

Disclaimer: My life experince as combat veteran, dual citizen (US, EU), extensive travel (35 countries, all 48 continental states) diverse friend group, and general grasp of the fucked up the realities of the world, make it hard for me to connect with most women I meet, especially average American women. If I dont respond, no hard feelings, I just know deep down it won't work.
