My self-summary
Born and raised in LA. I've been working and living in Brooklyn for the past seven years. I'll be moving to Austin to start a new job in November.
What I’m doing with my life
Double features at Film Forum, running to Greenpoint, drinks with friends, community outreach for StoryCorps, on the look out for fun shows.
I’m really good at
Making strangers feel comfortable over the phone. Laughing at your jokes. Finding the best foreign films and indie music shows (well what I believe to be the best, at least).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My Brooklyn book club is basically on summer hiatus and now will probably have to end since I'm moving. We were supposed to be reading Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur (I read it and gifted it to both of my sisters, it's good). Roberto Bolaño's Savage Detectives blew my mind. Shadow of the Wind was fun. I also really enjoyed The Unbearable Lightness of Being, anything by Hemingway, One Hundred Years of Solitude, God of Small Things, Chekhov cracks me up. Eduardo Galeano.

The Godfather and Before Night Falls are my favorite films. Vertigo, Todo Sobre Mi Madre, In the Mood For Love, etc. I enjoy going to the movies by myself but I'm looking for someone to join me and answer all those questions I always have about character and song choice.

I'm a big Morrissey fan. Lately I've been obsessed with Davila 666, Shannon and the Clams, Franki Rose, and Vince Staples.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The moon, the seasons, food, ocean breezes, Mexico City, Oaxaca, Austin, New York City, owning a dog.
