My self-summary
I am all about meeting and hearing about the lives and thoughts of curious people.

I read, write, drink on rooftops until early am, snowboard, play guitar, surf, get out of town, creatively/aggressively pursue content and adventures, new experiences and food as much as possible. Never bored.

"Relentlessly curious, fearless, and without prejudice." - Anthony Bordain.
What I’m doing with my life
Working, a lot, in renewable energy finance. Many other things outside of that, glad to chat about them.
I’m really good at
Sense of direction, being a good citizen at the airport, bass, jumping rope. I can type 140 wpm.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm not bashful, I reckon. In SF people can infer the east coast pretty quickly.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Infinite Jest, Journey to the End of the Night, The Earth Abides, Jorge Luis Borges stories, Post Office, Neurologic, The Commanding Heights, and many more..maybe the next thing you recommend. I subscribe to or pirate and read a lot of different magazines and papers. Let's share news aggregators.

shows -- Seinfeld, Wire, True Detective, Sopranos, Law and Order, Better Call Saul, documentaries of all sorts. Not to be basic but I don't have cable.

I like every type of food that I've found exists so far. Exception - duck. I cannot eat duck because growing up there was a duck that lived behind my mom's house that ate bread out of my hand.

Too much movies and music to list here.
Six things I could never do without
Books/magazines, ability to run, Amazon, garlic, motorcycle, remaining adaptive/resourceful such that I only need five things.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Other places to be, see and eat, fermi's paradox, jevon's paradox. How to consistently soft boil eggs, how to effectively peel soft boiled eggs. Politics/economics.
On a typical Friday night I am
Movies, concerts, driving to a campground/tahoe, stumbling around Chinatown, catching up and meeting people. Working late and passing out. No prescription.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a batman pillowcase on my bed. I'm actually not ashamed of that, but it suits the spirit of this question.
You should message me if
If you get "it," and if you have a good dog that's a sufficient but not necessary thing. If you know of really solid Italian food in the bay area, have unique or interesting thoughts or places to share.
