My self-summary
Living the life as a professional musician. It's tough out there, but worth it. I'm totally committed to being the best musician I can. I cannot imagine my life without it. No matter what I do outside of music, I'm always drawn back.

Right now I'm in the process of auditioning for orchestras as that is my ultimate goal. In the mean time I'm performing and teaching music to pay rent.

I would describe myself as passionate, hard-working, funny, empathetic, and a good listener.

According to the Myers-Briggs test, I'm an INFJ.
What I’m doing with my life
Practicing all the time, seeing friends and family when I can, traveling for auditions, and rehearsing. All music all the time.

I recently just finished my masters degree in Clarinet Performance at USC in Los Angeles. Now based in Boston, MA.
I’m really good at
Baking chocolate chip cookies
Making Mazto Ball soup for passover when I'm not Jewish?
Writing essays apparently
Name that composer
Cleaning my room meticulously to avoid doing something important

What I'm NOT good at:

Hiding facial expressions
The first things people usually notice about me
People have said...

I have a "nice" ass.

My eyes look brown but they're actually greenish, people seem to notice that.

I'm described as a sweet heart... on maybe the first impression ;-)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
This list could go on forever and no one reads the long lists of random bands you put on here... we get it you're hipster enough to know more music than everyone else ;-)

Books (authors):
John Irving, Malcolm Gladwell, Haruki Murakami, Franz Kafka, and Tom Robbins.

I love fiction and non-fiction writing. I also went through a phase of reading about the zodiac signs which was interesting, but not something I'm dogmatic about.

The Big Lebowski, American Beauty, Breakfast Club, David Lynch films, horror films, Inception, Forrest Gump
(I rarely get to the movie theatre, so if you're into movies lets go see one)

Everyone has loads of favorite shows these days! I love Mad Men, Twin Peaks, Survivor, Six Feet Under, Girls, and I plan on starting Breaking Bad and Walking Dead because EVERYONE tells me to.

I'm a musician so I'm really open-minded and I'm always listening to whatever I'm hearing no matter what it is. This is my life, so I would listen to anything.

But if I have to choose some highlights...
(If you're not familiar with some of these composers I can assure you that "classical" music is not boring! it's the best stuff out there)

Maurice Ravel, John Adams, Steve Reich, Oliver Messiaen, Benjamin Britten, W.A. Mozart, Claude Debussy, Sergei Rachmaninov, Serge Prokofiev, Robert Schumann

Of Montreal, Animal Collective, Radiohead, The Beatles, Starfcker, Jazz, Arcade Fire and I'm always looking to expand my knowledge with non-classical music. I'd love your recommendations and I'd love to know your favorite music.

Anything! But... Indian, Thai, and Mexican are my favorites. Who doesn't love food? I'll try anything.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How I can be more informed and a better person without being sanctimonious.
On a typical Friday night I am
On a date with YOU!

Otherwise I'm practicing, listening to music, reading, listening to Radio Lab or passed out because I'm totally exhausted.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
A few friends and I mooned the main street of my undergrad campus in a moving car.

I'm repulsed by people who are impatient, ungrateful, lacking empathy, and pride. I respect it when people admit their faults, when they're wrong and who don't pretend to know what they're talking about when they don't understand or know something.

I'll tell you what happened in a labyrinth in Austria this past summer for a drink!
You should message me if
