I'm active and prefer to spend time outside or doing something physical. Running* and hiking are my top choices, but almost anything kinesthetic is cool.
I would never describe myself as laid-back or easygoing, but I'm generally cool with letting people do whatever it is that they do.
*Yeah, I overused my IT band and now it's mad. Learning some new ways to be active.
I'm a recent transplant to the Bay Area (September 2016). Originally from Maryland, I moved out to San Diego in 2015. I ended up finding a job up here, so I am discovering all the neat things to do around these parts.
Not good at: baking, clothes.
I'm skinny. I give side-eye. I'm weird.
Movies - I'll watch cerebral stuff and like it. Maybe even love it. But, c'mon, I want to be entertained! Edge of Tomorrow was amazing. I only fell asleep during The Force Awakens the second time around. Anything Miyazaki. Pixar/Disney (I love Zootopia). The Nightmare Before Christmas (and the soundtrack). The Station Agent. Death at a Funeral.
Series - GoT; Les Revenants; Bob's Burgers; Doctor Who; Doc Martin; Haven. Westworld, recently, which has caused me to wander around in a semi-permanent state of confusion. And Stranger Things.
Music - everything from alt-J, Rage Against the Machine, Cold War Kids, Tool, Prokofiev, Darlingside, Florence + the Machine, Stravinsky, Trampled by Turtles, Imagine Dragons, Metallica, Lady Gaga, and one hit wonders from the 90s.
Food - I eat a lot of jam. Just out of the jar. I'm trying to balance all the people who do the same with peanut butter. A karmic pb&j sandwich.
I also LOVE Middle Eastern food (Afghani, Iraqi, Persian, Lebanese, etc.) and bibimbap.
Running shoes. Minimalist running is bullshit.
Climate change; space; art; spaces; running; color; people; homelessness; murder; socioeconomics.
The optimal positioning of people on BART.
What the exchange rate is at Gringotts.
Before that, Netflix and beer. I'm super awesome and love hanging out with myself.
You'll help me learn to cook tasty food.
You like wandering out of the house early on weekend mornings and finding adventure.
