My self-summary
I'm bored, but not boring. I am articulate, love dialogue, but avoid conversation. I bike. a lot. I have more experience in coffee than I do in school; and that's saying a lot. I act more than I live my life, which sucks, but my job requires it. I sing, but haven't had a band in a bit; I love stand-up, and have been a touring comic for the past 4 years; I am an improv student, but am no longer taking classes. I am at comedy clubs often, but would love to spend some alone time with someone wonderful.

I have a fun comedy podcast at www.ThisDrugCalledLifepodast.com I mostly interview comedians, improv artists, and musicians.
You can look me up as to some comedy and my metal career on youtube if you search for Johnny Athmann.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm soaking in the shitty realities of life; paying for graduate school debts, bills, and life whilst serving food and doing comedy. Currently, I'm trying to write and perform as much stand-up as I can, while still paying the bills.
I’m really good at
Criticizing the silliness of life. steaming milk. Shitting on consumerism, capitalism, and religion; writing wit, and interpreting text...or, um, spotting grammatical errors. Have I made one or two so far?
The first things people usually notice about me
Unfortunately, my tattoos; never my eyes, which are wicked cool. or my abrasive and critical personality, which always means to be funny, but some people don't get what funny actually is, both noticable.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Chuck Palahniuk, Lynda Barry's "Cruddy." "Sin City," "Kick-Ass," "Bringing Out the Dead," "Leon aka the Professional." Propagandhi, Bad Religion, Minus the Bear, the Album Leaf, Appleseed Cast. food? vegan vegan vegan.
Six things I could never do without
My bike, stand up, punk rock, anime, my memories, comedy podcasts, and great literature
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Comedy, new podcast segments, idiotic customers and what they do when they are not annoying me ... grammar, linguistics, punctuation, and how very common phrases and words originated...like "farewell," which is just combining "fair" and "well," as in, "I hope you fair well in the future." But, what about "good-bye?" That's like responding to "okay, I'm leaving;" with "Good. bye." ...kinda different than it's used today.
On a typical Friday night I am
working myself hilarious.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I like comedy and anime more than I care for most human beings.
You should message me if
you can spell everything in your message correctly and word it in a way that won't make me cringe whilst reading it. Or, if you just like comedy. Comedy is pretty much my entire life right now.
