My self-summary
Hey all, I'm Brian.

Jersey Shore native and have lived here my whole life except for a four year stint four months in Germany, and six months in Florida. I love traveling and going on road trips. I've been to a bunch of places in America and abroad. Don't hesitate to ask me about them, although I may talk your ear off. Also a big sports fan. Pitt Panthers/Penguins/Giants.

I'm very independent and am not afraid to do my own thing rather than follow the crowd (group mentality sucks!). I'm always up for trying and experiencing new things, and I mean that literally. Especially when it comes to food. Life's more interesting when you leave your comfort zone.
What I’m doing with my life
Grad school at Rutgers, working part time, and enjoying the hell out of life.
I’m really good at
-My directional sense: reading maps, directions, finding my way around, not getting lost, etc
-Planning travel excursions
-Analyzing past performances in the DRF
-Disappointing people when I tell them that us Jersey Shore residents are not like Snooki and the Situation.
-Telling panhandlers I only have 20s on me when they ask for change.
The first things people usually notice about me
"Has anyone ever told you you look like Matt Damon?"
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Don't really read since I can't sit still. But out of what I have read- Seabiscuit and The Catcher in the Rye.

Movies: Tommy Boy, Star Wars, Seabiscuit, the Blind Side, Rat Race, Inglorious Basterds, The Fifth Element, The Waterboy (and most Adam Sandler comedies), Die Hard, Finding Nemo, Bad Santa, A Christmas Story, Dances with Wolves, Field of Dreams, Independence Day, Forrest Gump, Shawshank Redemption, Austin Powers, Django Unchained, Remember the Titans, Ace Ventura, The Dark Knight (Rises), Miracle, Titanic, Silver Linings Playbook

Music: AC/DC and Bruce Springsteen are definitely my top two. Also: Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Billy Joel, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Beatles, Nirvana, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Elton John, Simon and Garfunkel, The Pretenders, Jimi Hendrix, Flogging Molly, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, The Gaslight Anthem. Primarily classic rock but I'm also open to blues, some hip-hop and pop, and classical. One thing though: I really, really don't like rap (except for some Eminem) or screamo/death metal.

TV shows: Jeopardy, Family Guy, South Park, the Simpsons, the Amazing Race, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Archer, Seinfeld. But I really don't watch TV that often aside from comedy or sports. I'll respect all you Whovians, but don't expect me to join you in watching. Sorry :)

Food: literally anything. Hungarian, French, Bosnian, Italian, Polish, German, Thai, Vietnamese. Also love dark beer.
The six things I could never do without

I spend a lot of time thinking about
How can I further develop myself to become a better person?
The countless number of places I want to see and experience during my lifetime.
On a typical Friday night I am
There really is no typical Friday night for me, so I really couldn't tell you. I'm a free spirit, I could be doing anything!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've got nothing to hide! I'm a real catch ;)
