My self-summary
Happiest deep in the wilderness, deep in love, or deep into a feast. Reader of all things. Educated in photography, psychology, and magnetic resonance imaging technology. Food and music, art and technology and biology and medicine and chemistry and current events- my brain is a sponge and it loves being filled up with knowledge. Commence sexy jokes.
What I’m doing with my life
Deciding when to get a puppy. Planning for the future. Working my way through LA's best cheap eats.
I’m really good at
Learning. Reading. Walking. Seeing. Empathy.
The first things people usually notice about me
My depth of personality and nuance of character, obviously.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
"... a mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge. That’s why I read so much, Jon Snow.”

City of Lost Children, American Beauty, Adaptation, Fight Club, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Groundhog Day, Serenity, and Kung Fu Hustle are movies I will watch at absolutely any time.

Futurama, Bob's Burgers, Venture Bros, Cowboy Bebop, Ugly Americans, Archer, Samurai Jack, Daria. Better Off Ted, Malcolm in the Middle, Episodes, Community, Bored to Death, Peaky Blinders, Mozart in the Jungle, Six Feet Under. Firefly.

Music is life. Live music is life squared. I've seen a lot of amazing concerts, and I'm always looking for the next show.

Quesadillas! Mole poblano, tacos al pastor, ceviche. Dungeness crab and scallops and squid and raw oysters. Fish. Cha siu, xiao long bao, peking duck. Sushi, sashimi, ramen, tandoori, pho, banh mi! Pad kee mao, kao soi, panang. Prosciutto! Cheese! Fruit!
And sandwiches. Always sandwiches.

Making and eating really good food are two of the most worthwhile human pastimes.
Six things I could never do without
Learning and traveling, love and pleasure. Balance. And hot peppers.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
FOOD. Perceptions, vibrations. Eyes and hands, skin and muscle. Anatomy & physiology, pathology, electricity, magnetism, physics, biochemistry. Music, sex, art. How to improve my balance between extreme verbal elaboration and totally silent observation. Connections. The micro and the macro. The space between. Us.
On a typical Friday night I am
Eating, drinking, exploring. Or chilling and netflixing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I drink tea. I like crossword puzzles and graphic novels and vinyl records quite a lot. I'm usually barefoot around the house, and I sleep naked. I still miss the bay area. I'm passionate about socks and finely crafted flavors, be they fermented, fried, or otherwise.

-you wear makeup to the gym
-you are vegan and judgemental
