My self-summary
Let's see.... I'm passionate, liberal, edgy sarcastic but fiercely loyal and silly. I’m a kid at heart and don’t like to take myself too seriously, though I do successfully hold a good job and pay my mortgage. I love dogs, travel, good food, photography, and just hanging out and relaxing. If I won the lottery I'd so quit my job and travel the world. On a sailboat, maybe?

If it’s sunny and summer I refuse to sit inside. The sound of waves, lake or ocean, makes me happy. Not a huge fan of winter, you’ll often find me hanging out in Muddy Waters, though I do head to the beach to take photos of the ice and snow. Tropical vacations in February are a must. I grew up in Florida and have lived all over the place since getting to Vermont 6 years ago.

I have a Goldendoodle named Teddy Bear whom I adore. You pretty much better be a dog person. I like to think that I’m really into active outdoorsy stuff, but these days you are much more likely to find me at the beach with the dog, people watching, hanging out with friends. I am a fine art photographer by night and MBA geek by day. I do a lot of my vacations around photography, or visiting the family in Florida. I love to travel and have recently visited San Francisco, the Grand Canyon, London, Paris, Costa Rica.. and many others.

I'm looking for someone who's intelligent, charming, makes me laugh. I suppose most people aren't looking for the dumb, annoying, and boring. You'll need to accept the fact that I'm kinda sarcastic, I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up, and I talk to my dog in that googly baby voice. If you see someone driving down the road dancing like a maniac to the music in their car, that's probably me. I'd love to meet someone who likes adventure but is also perfectly happy curling up on the couch Friday night for a movie over, say, homemade english muffin pizzas. You should be into taking care of yourself, but not to the point of shunning a warm chocolate souffle. I want someone who's gotten to the point of accepting the imperfections and craziness in everyone, including themselves.
What I’m doing with my life
I’m really good at
Sarcasm, being ridiculous, photography, playing with dogs, being fiercely loyal to my friends, daydreaming, travel, listening to my friends and being non-judgmental, eating yummy food, wasting time on facebook.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm a little silly and I'm OK with that. But I clean up good when I want to.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: A Walk in the Woods, Eat Pray Love, Harry Potter, Einstein's Shutter, Embarrassment of Mangoes, 4 Hour Work Week

TV: Modern Family, Glee, Friends, HIMYM (NPH is so amazing in this), Big Bang Theory. Those nerds are my peeps, though I don't work in science.

Music: U2, Tori Amos, Dave Matthews, Enya, Modest Mouse, David Gray, Iz, Peter Gabriel, Rihanna, Snow Patrol

Food: Total foodie & food snob, and it makes me sad that Burlington doesn't have a Whole Foods. Not to say I don't have a burger at the Pub at least once a week. Mexican, Thai, good creative American food (like Our House in Winooski), good salads, dessert, burgers. I don't do korean or ethiopian, beyond that, I generally like it.
Six things I could never do without
Chocolate, sun, sleep, my dog, good food, and water (lakes, oceans, streams).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Witty things to say in my online dating profile.
On a typical Friday night I am
If it's nice I'll go for a walk by the lake for the sunset, then head out for dinner & maybe drinks with friends. Art Hop, concert, whatever may be going on. People watch. Muddy Waters. If it's a really long week, I'm asleep.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
You're going to have to get to know me better before you hear these things. I'm generally an open book, but I'm not about to reveal my best stories right now!
You should message me if
I intrigue you, you can correctly use an apostrophe, and you haven't already called the U-Haul place. Seriously, though, happy to go on dates and meet new friends. Though I'm currently in Vermont, I'm totally fine meeting people in other parts of our small world.
