I moved to the US because I was fascinated by this country and didn't want to miss the experience to work here. It hasn't been an easy decision though. I had to quit my job as consultant for a big technology consulting firm, and I had to go through the tedious procedure of getting a work visa which was kind of crazy. It all worked out eventually though :).
In case you wonder and you are still reading, my home country is Germany. I work for a software company that develops a video chat platform. I started as a Software Engineer and recently became the Director of Engineering. In my free time, I used to be involved in psychological studies about happiness and positive emotions, but recently haven't had the time to do anything in that field. I consider myself open-minded, easy-going, and well-behaved. Well, at least most of the time :). Shoot me a message if you like to know more or if you have an answer to the question why so many American guys wear those brown beige trousers and shirts that are clearly too large for them :)
