My self-summary
Please send a message. I can't see who likes me on this site. Admittedly I've got to get to the photographer and get some better pics.
What I’m doing with my life
Helping others.
I’m really good at
striking up conversations with strangers
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love all types of food from Ethiopian to Mexican. My favorite book is Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf. A couple of my more recent favorite movies are Take This Waltz and Lars and The Real Girl. I typically go for art house/indie films. Love the series Transparent on Amazon. I like all types of music. Really, I listen to everything, but I have an affinity for indie, folksy, singer-songwriter, alternative country types of music. If I'm not listening to the latest random playlists on Spotify, I'm typically listening to KGSR and Top 40.
Six things I could never do without
Family and friends goes without saying. But let me think...pen and paper (does that count as two?), books, the internet, and trips to anywhere.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
...all of the things that contribute to how we perceive the world and how our perception creates our reality

Here's a quote I like:
“There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is nor how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep yourself open and aware to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. ... No artist is pleased. [There is] no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is only a queer divine dissatisfaction, a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive than the others”
― Martha Graham
On a typical Friday night I am
going out with friends. Who wants to be alone?
You should message me if
you're looking to make friends, you liked something that I said, you're bored, or you noticed a typo.
