My self-summary
I pay my rent on time. I wear socks that match (most of the time). I’m an honest man with a great career and strong values. So while I could regale you with stories of my many travels and adventures… I know that good communication is a foundation for every relationship. So if we’re on the same
wavelength, read on...
What I’m doing with my life
Tuesday through Saturday, I manage the Research and Development department for a homebrew supply manufacturing company. I also manage the retail store we have on site. So my average work week involves making beer, testing new products, and troubleshooting issues for customers. I could tell you more, but I’m sure you’d much rather see the 367-slide PowerPoint I’ve prepared with all the juicy details… ;)

Outside of work I keep plenty busy, whether I’m getting my
heart rate up by riding my bike, or throwing juicy burgers on the BBQ with friends while sharing and tasting rare craft beers.
I’m really good at
Making beer. Cards Against Humanity. Scrabble. Dog whispering. Navigating foreign cities and subways with nothing but a map. Giving directions to strangers. Building a fire. Not drowning.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably that my civilized demeanor doesn’t quite fit with my less than innocent eyes.

What was the first thing YOU noticed about me?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Anything intelligent or funny. (Though I can't stand most sitcoms.)

I like:
The Walking Dead
Game of Thrones
Doctor Who (though not a big fan of the 12th Doctor, Peter Capaldi, but I am very excited for the 13th Doctor being a woman. Jodie Whittaker was an excellent choice.)
Man in the High Castle
And I'm really loving American Gods (the book was fantastic)
Lots of other sci-fi and comedy stuff. I'm also into some of the Marvel/DC shows and movies (I was a huge comic book fan as a kid).

Huge fan of The Daily Show. While Trevor Noah is doing fine job, I will always miss Jon Stewart. I also like John Oliver and Stephen Colbert.

Too many books to list, but my latest book was "Ready Player One", by Ernest Cline. Great book! It's being adapted into a movie by Steven Spielberg. Also loved "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy, and pretty much anything from Neil Gaiman.

I'm all over the place as far as music goes, I like pretty much anything, but country (though I do like some bluegrass). My preferred music is probably punk rock and metal since that's what I grew up on.

As far as food goes, I am an "opportunivore". I'll eat what tastes good, but in moderation, of course. Trying to stay at least somewhat healthy.
Six things I could never do without
Free thought
My bike
Petting dogs
My friends/family (yes, this counts as one thing)
Possibly you? ;)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
If Ice Cube and Ice-T ever hung out and Ice-T dropped an ice cube in Ice Cube's iced tea things would get weird?
On a typical Friday night I am
Not doing much on Friday nights because I work on Saturdays.

But on my Saturday nights, I'm usually fermenting stuff, riding my bike through the desert, playing some multiplayer video games, bowling, out with friends, or just hanging out by myself enjoying a movie or book. Preferably, I'm hanging out with you. ;)
