Feminine woman looking for manly man of integrity ...
Here we are on the virtual 'Wild Wild West' --
I'd love to find a male friend with whom to day trip and enjoy a slice of life, and if romance were to ensue that would be grand.
At this stage in life, and in consideration of the challenges of the times -- just having a man to be sweet to / who is sweet to me, w/ whom to enjoy a simple, happy, healthy, and productive day-to-dayness ... that would be yuge.
Add to the above exquisite male/female alchemy, and oolala ... that would be heaven.
I'm an ardent environmental activist.
A realist who believes it wise to look forward toward a more sustainable lifestyle.
Fun + funny, I attain balance with laughter.
Craving a man with whom to be just plain silly.
I've traveled a fascinating road to arrive at a juncture of genuine internal happiness within the external context of troubling times. Thankfully, my wanderlust was satisfied before we measured the carbon footprints of air travel.
Where I once thrived in urban contexts, I now feel most alive in the midst of natural surrounds and quietude.
I dare to dream of a man with whom to take sweet refuge . . . that we may coalesce with integrity and humour, learn from one another and together; share a health-oriented holistic lifestyle, and; give/receive love unconditionally.
I derive great pleasure from organic gardening, and I'm learning to can (as in put-up food). I've an interest in beekeeping and chickens. I view food as medicine for both body and soul, though take delight in preparing food that tastes yummy v. medicinal. Pure food is wise to be a point of focus for community building; both integral to living well. I practice yoga (down-levelled to restorative these days), meditate and love bucolic country walks. I am learning to forage medicinal + edible weeds and herbs. I love swimming + canoeing in fresh water (would love to fish with a man as I did with my dad when a wee one). To date I engage in solo small-scale maple syruping. ... snowshoeing. I've a passion for architecture, art & indie/foreign films. An evening hunkering down with a good book, a fine man, and my two rescue puppies would be grand.
Having traded in the city life to become a country mouse -- I enjoy jaunts to the city for theater, ballet, opera, art exhibitions and ethnic food; yet prefer nature as my surround.
I am completely feminine and enjoy a manly man. Of a gentle manner and compassionate nature, I seek the same in a partner.
Most compatible would be a man who will never lose that gleam in his eye that bespeaks a joie de vivre. He's comfortable engaging in discourse both dreamy and intellectually provocative. And, silly.
To be together and forget the world; to stand together and deal with the world . . .

EcoFemme bespeaks my lifestyle. Vandana Shiva my heroine in that department, along with Rachel Carson (past) and Professors Bill McKibbon + Tony Ingraffea (present).
"Fracktivism" (as in working to protect our water and air against the ravages of hydrofracking) has occupied copious amounts of my time, energy and resources these last several years in New York State.
Literally slid into an olde farmhouse in Maine during the winter's worst ice storm; now happily emerging to the joys of spring and the activities of summer. Hoping Maine doesn't fully succumb to water privatization ...
Previous experience toward fundraising endeavors combined in a perfect storm along with climate change events and social media to: help a neighboring community recover from Hurricane Irene in 2011; organize a Hurricane Sandy Relief initiative for Staten Island in 2012;
co-manage a crowd-source funding campaign for direct relief to a village at the epicenter of the Nepal earthquake in 2015.
Volunteering at farmers' market as community liaison.
I have a vision I'm working toward . . . it will be juicier with a certain someone to share life, laughter, and love with.

the former comes in many forms.
I quite like a man who has survival skills;
even dirty and off-grid, he's a gentleman
(funny and smart).
