My self-summary
EDIT: I am in the process of moving from Sunnyvale to San Leandro over the course of the next 2 weeks, but will be back and forth for the foreseeable future.

I am a warm, geeky, kinky, ethically poly, ethically slutty, adventurous, loving, tender, flirtatious, with a big heart and a no-nonsense attitude.

Very few things are sacred. The only way not to be ashamed or afraid is to drag your fears and shames kicking and screaming into the light and laugh at them.

An extrovert by nature, outgoing by choice. ENFP
What I’m doing with my life
*finding my creative streak by writing and a short film project I'm trying to storyboard for, Burning Man, DJing when I can, singing, trying to teach myself music mixing/remixing, improv comedy.
*Climbing at Planet Granite and yoga in an effort to be prouder and more comfortable in my body.
*cycling. It saves gas money, lessens the amount of garbage I leave in the atmosphere, and I find it meditative and calming as opposed to driving which I find stressful unless I have company.
*Avid gamer as long as I can game with live people in the same room. I attend a board game night with friends on Thursday nights
*Practicing on my new stilts
*I model for painting/drawing classes and adult films (when possible). I am an exhibitionist when the opportunity presents itself and I look at it like exposure therapy for my negative body image issues
I’m really good at
finding the right words, making people laugh, and improvising when plans go awry
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes, my smile, my warmth, my blue hair, the scar on my abdomen, and a biting sense of humor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Stranger in a Strange Land, the Dresden Files, the Age of Unreason books by J. Gregory Keyes, Daemon & Freedom by Daniel Suarez, The MarketPlace novels by Laura Antoniou, SteelHeart by Brandon Sanderson

TV: Whose Line is it Anyway, The Magicians, Supernatural, The Muppet Show, Jessica Jones, Misfits, Pushing Daisies, Firefly, Red Dwarf, Sense8, Daredevil, STTNG, Farscape, iZombie, various Anime

Movies: A Scanner Darkly, Strange Days, Brick, Tron, Rifftrax of various films, Plan 9 from Outer Space, Rocky Horror, old Star Wars, old kung-fu movies, Repo: The Genetic Opera, Clue, The Devil's Carnival, The Zero Theorem, Miyazaki Films, Laika Films

Music: Icon of Coil, Bad Religion, Apocalyptica, Garbage, Lords of Acid, Lacuna Coil, Save Ferris, Bif Naked, Pennywise, Rise Against, PostModern Jukebox, Walk off the Earth, Emilie Autumn, etc., etc. A song that will always stick with me is 'Knock Me Out' by Linda Perry and Grace Slick. Two of the most impressive women in popular music of their respective generations together on a song that just makes me ache

Food: Simple chinese dishes, Afghan, Greek, etc. For me the company is more important than the food. Although finding a calm center at one of my favorite little taverns with a shepherd's pie is a wonderful thing...
Six things I could never do without
Music, kitties, yoga, physical intimacy, exercise, and sweet merciful caffeine
I spend a lot of time thinking about
If I can find someone to spar with. (and why do I think that's a romantic activity?)
Wanting to have partners who are more active than me while still allowing me to keep up with them.
What I want to study if I go back to a traditional college education.
If I'll ever find an art form I'm passionate enough about to totally and utterly dedicate myself to
On a typical Friday night I am
Hooking up a bad-movie night with my friends, talking, reading, going to a munch, home improvement, crafting, DJing (if I can get a gig), or just relaxing at home with my kitty laying across my stomach

I'm kinda in love with bicycling (especially at night) I find it meditative and fun...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have trust issues and occasionally have a hard time accepting help from people (damned foolish pride)

My organizational/scheduling skills kind of suck

I get pangs of paternal energy which I resolve by being a caring friend, partner, and pet-parent
You should message me if
You are part of, interested in, or comfortable with the BDSM scene. It's an important part of my sexuality and my preferred relationship style.
You're brave enough to make the first move.
You're weird, geeky, flirty, and fun! :)
You're okay dating an ethically poly guy.
You're reasonably independent.
You're big on self-improvement.
