I grew up in NYC with a great, fun family filled
with a lot of life and love. There was always laughter, love, music, encouragement, tools,
adventure, great food and fun around us. As an
adult, all those traits are just as important to
me. I love to cook / BBQ and entertain, have a big, giving
heart for those around me, love time spent with
family and can't live without laughter or music.
I'm a big believer that life is about moments
and "the little things", that romance and
chivalry are NOT dead and that a good sense
of humor (sarcastic, slapstick.. any kind) keeps you sane. I'm always up for an adventure, be it trying a new restaurant,
hopping in the car and hitting the road anywhere and just exploring. I've become a huge fan of Photography and love shooting anything from live music to a picturesque view. I have a
creative background working in audio field in
both film, television and music and I play a
number of musical instruments. Sometimes I have to
work long hours but I believe in maintaining
balance in life.
I would love to find someone who doesn't
take themselves too seriously, knows how to
laugh at life but can be serious when needed.
understands that there are ups, downs
in life and can roll with and make the best of
them. She's open minded and up for adventure
whether it's trying a new restaurant to
traveling somewhere she's never been be it
local or not. A partner who is family oriented
but also can balance work and friends. She has a
big heart towards the ones she loves and is
able to communicate her feelings and needs.
She would like to stay active and healthy and is
comfortable in her skin with a healthy outlook
physically and emotionally. Someone who
enjoys great conversation, being social, is
aware of the world around her and is not afraid
to go for what she wants. She would love to
have a family and build a home filled with love,
warmth, laughter and great memories.
Recently I had a conversation that really impacted me. I was talking with my mother's old friend from her years in college. Her son and I pretty much met at birth :) She and my mom were therapists. She told my mom what a great friend and person I am and from her professional perspective, I am a great therapist just without the certification. Mind you, I have no formal training. What she said really touched me because I treat people the way I want to be treated and am always there with (from her perspective) good advice. I am really grateful to have so many wonderful people in my life.
Great friends and family
