My self-summary
I am an independent woman with a sense of humour and am looking for a friend and a lover. I am a social worker and find my work challenging and interesting and prefer that quality in you too. I find I connect best with someone who has the same passion for what they do professionally-preferably someone in the medical or public service fields.

I love to read, usually fiction. I like jazz, old school R&B, Latin jazz. I also like country music because of the musicianship and the wonderful storytelling. I can be reserved until I get to know you. I'm looking for a man who gets that I'm strong and independent, and also vulnerable at times. I want someone who can challenge me, in a loving way. I'm a feminist (don't let that scare you!) and feminine- I like having the door opened for me and flowers every once in a while. Do you get it? Kindness, humor, passion for life and good manners are sexy to me.

Physically, I am 5'4", plus size (I know that's a cliche, but what can I say),short, curly hair, nice smile.

I am sensitive, funny, and eclectic.
What I’m doing with my life
Enjoying my job and trying to have more fun.
I’m really good at
...being a good friend.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
It's difficult to choose favorites, but I love "To Kill A Mockingbird." Favorite authors include Anne Lamott, Barbara Kingsolver, early Stephen King, true crime.

I don't watch a lot of movies, but I like psychological thrillers, comedies.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'll admit it when I know you deserve to know! It'll be worth it.
You should message me if
You know what eclectic means, if you read for pleasure not just Playboy for the articles, if you think it's stupid to give flowers but you still do because the payoff is worth it. If you think that texting and emails are a good start, but you crave actual human interaction.
...if you're looking for a partner

Go ahead and send me a message- tell me what you're reading, what you like to do for fun.
