My self-summary
I was born and raised in CT but have been in L.A for about seven years. I double-majored at the University of Connecticut in Psychology and Sociology. I'm usually up for anything, easy to get along with, hard-working... And can cook you a bad ass dinner. Seriously. Socks will be knocked off, ladies.
What I’m doing with my life
I create and oversee development of apps for mobile. One in particular, launching this fall. You're wondering how I got into that with a Psych/Soci degree. That's best told over drinks. Before this I was a full time Crisis Counselor at a group home for teenage girls for three years. And all those stories are best told over MANY MANY drinks, haha.
I’m really good at
Writing. Turning frowns upside down. Beating you at drinking games. Comedy. 90's karaoke. Eating tacos. Best taco eater in the game, son!
The first things people usually notice about me
I get comments on my blue eyes and "kind face" from strangers more often than is probably normal. In my Crisis Counseling position it was crucial to make a first impression of "This is not a face I'd immediately like to punch," so. I got that going for me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
BOOKS: A Confederacy of Dunces, The God Delusion, IT, The Stand, The Dark Tower, Catcher in the Rye, currently getting through the Harry Potters for the first time... My muggle eyes are opened.

MOVIES: Swingers, The Big Lebowski, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Godfather I & II, Goodfellas, Old School, any movie involving the Brat Pack, the truffle shuffle, The Sausage King of Chicago, haunted refrigerators, or jamming out to Johnny B. Good. I think every movie ever made should end with a freeze frame of John Candy smiling.

MUSIC: City and Colour, Manchester Orchestra, Deathcab for Cutie, Jukebox the Ghost, Mike Doughty, Soul Coughing, DMB, Brand New, Bob Marley, Simon & Garfunkel, Young the Giant, Guster, Virginia Coalition, Travis. The list can go on.

FOOD: Thai, Italian, Cajun, Vietnamese, Mexican, Soul Food, Sushi. Not in any particular order.
Six things I could never do without
-An endless list of new restaurants and bars for me to try.
-Road trips.
-Spicy food. I don't trust anyone who doesn't like spicy food.
-This American Life app
-The internet
-TV On Demand, Netflix, or DVD
I spend a lot of time thinking about
On a typical Friday night I am
Cooking dinner at home or trying a new restaurant, drinks with friends at the usual hangouts or exploring the city, catching a concert, a movie, or comedy show... Or saying I'm going to do all that and suddenly realizing it's 4am and I've been watching Netflix for 17 hours straight and oh my god I need help.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Coolio told me to be quiet or we'd have a motherfuckin' problem one time.
You should message me if
you are very open and honest off the bat, you have some sass in you, and you can keep up a convo on anything. And if you smell nice. Gotta smell nice.
