My self-summary
First thing you should know about me is that I am a little bit of a lot of different things and I'm told I'm tough to figure out.

I value seeing good friends and making new ones, seeing live music or checking out a new city. But I also crave nature and being alone with a campfire and stars. I live lakeside 3 acres of mini-woods paradise but I still hear the football games from my backyard so it's the best of both worlds. While I love to pursue my own interests and be my own person, I prefer to share experiences with someone else. Conversation and connection are key.
What I’m doing with my life
Im currently working on my Masters degree and developing techniques for coral propagation and restoration in the Caribbean.
I’m really good at
telling it like it is
succeeding under pressure
The first things people usually notice about me
Blue eyes
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Too many musical preferences to list. My listening tastes are pretty wide from classical to bluegrass and jazz. I used to spin EDM, mainly psytrance, electro and (good) dubstep.

Favorite bands would include: CAKE, Banzai Republic, Allison Krauss, David Byrne, Shpongle, Sesto Sento, Younger Brother, Phillip Glass, Holst, Sean Hayes, Macklemore, K-OS, Pepper, Portishead, Radiohead, Outkast, Prince to name a few.

I love to cook but hate to cook for myself. I recently have been trying to cut out things whose ingredients I can't recognize, but this doesn't always work. Currently trying to master the crock pot and slow cooking and going to get in the habit of making sushi again. As with music I will try anything once.
The six things I could never do without
(not necessarily in order)
1. A comfortable chair
2. Good company
3. Green space (lived in Liverpool, UK for a year, no trees...)
4. Music
5. Olive oil
6. an option for a sixth thing
I spend a lot of time thinking about
work, school, existence, meaning of life, beauty of nature, absurdity of pop culture and the absurdity of striving for a normality that does not exist.

Also what I'm doing this weekend and what I should try cooking next.
On a typical Friday night I am
the best Friday nights are the ones that you don't plan.
You should message me if
- know that normal and predictable is boring. The beach, Netflix and red wine are some of my favorite things too but I'd much rather know what makes you different. If you like to go on adventures and be spontaneous then we should get along

- are a genuine person with something to say
