My self-summary
Hey I just joined this thing so I'm still figuring things out. A few things about me hmm...I'm pretty much an LA native; been here since the age of three. What does that mean? I'm rather laid back, tan, and I say "dude" more often than I'd like to admit. I strive to be well cultured without being a pretentious douche about it. I just think that it's important to be mindful of what's going on outside of your bubble. I'm more about the big picture than the small details so that would explain the rather vague paragraph that you've just read.

Things that get me disproportionately excited; airports, comic book movies, dogs, board games, live music, free food, new balance shoes, and aquariums.
I’m really good at
ordering food in foreign languages, telling the difference between tapatio and cholula, creating an organized mess, problem solving, Settlers of Catan, and making mac n' cheese that's not from a box.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I've been on a Tom Robbins kick lately. Still Life with Woodpecker, Jitterbug Perfume, and World War Z are some recent favorites. Cat's Cradle, Y The Last Man, Saga

Music: Wilco, The Smiths, Pixies, Beatles, The National, Radiohead, Spoon, New Pornographers, Tame Impala, Elliott Smith, David Bowie, Al Green, Beach Boys, Classical

Movies: Office Space, Star Wars Trilogy, Eternal Sunshine, Ghost World, Boogie Nights, Rear Window, Wild Bunch, Groundhog's Day (again), Nightmare Before Christmas, Sixteen Candles, Spirited Away, Memento

TV: Battlestar Galactica, Game of Thrones, Futurama, Parks and Rec, random Food Network/HGTV shows - Oh and I finally watched Breaking Bad three years after everyone told me that I should.

Food: love it all...ethnic, comfort - I can probably eat more fries than you and your sibling combined.
The six things I could never do without
see Maslow's hierarchy of needs, also Trader Joe's
I spend a lot of time thinking about
my next meal. When I'm not thinking about food, I think about EVERYTHING else. Anything from does this shirt make me look fat to the unfathomable immensity of the universe. Well hot damn! The human mind is the most fascinating thing and I revel in imagining, perceiving, and analyzing anything and everything.

Oh, and the fake mustache craze and how we can end it.
On a typical Friday night I am
with my friends enjoying a good meal after a busy week, a midnight movie...what a loaded question
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm probably on petfinder at the same time, although not to look for a date.
You should message me if
You're unpretentious, have a nerdy quality or two, not sickeningly nice but in a snarky sort of way, and you might like me. You're not a member of a cult. In LA, that includes Crossfit and Scientology.
