I never know what to say here...well, my family is very mixed. I used to travel and live in Europe. I believe that it gave me a better outlook on life.
I love art in all it's forms, whether it is painting, sculpture, music, movies or dance. As long as it tells a story, I am hooked!
Recently, I have noticed that I enjoy cooking. I know...wierd for a bachelor. I really love cooking for someone other than me. I know a great simple recipe for a turkey skillet or baked salmon.
Also, if you have ever had that fantasy of a guy drawing you a note to find somewhere in your place...or you wanted to ask someone "draw me like one of your French girls" then, I'm your man!
I also surprise people by how blunt and straightforward I am. It is an ability I learned while working. Nothing creative can get done if people "beat around the bush".
People seem to love my Christopher Walken and Sean connery impressions. I also get questions about my name. APPARENTLY, I don't look Chinese:)
I read a lot of comic books and graphic novels too, both US and French, but don't worry. I dress like a human being and keep up with hygiene :)
I love classic movies and TV shows, especially cop shows like Hawaii Five-0 (the sideburns!), 70's Kung Fu films and Sci-fi, mainly for their camp and the out-datedness (I'm not sure if that's a word). As far as current shows, I am too busy or forgetful to watch a certain show every week, which is why Netflix is AMAZING (I just finished Daredevil)
I love classic 80's and 90's cartoons.
I go for symbolism and metaphors when it comes to movies and TV. Any movie will keep my attention if the subtle symbolism is there.
I also enjoy foreign films, especially French films. My taste of music is very broad. It is based on what I am in the mood for, whether it is Death Metal (I am not joking) or 40's jazz. Right now, I am into Contemporary Bluegrass! I have a lot of unique friends who have influenced my music taste.
-My house keys
Also...what to have for lunch. I don't think that far ahead sometimes.
- When I am working, I watch/listen to documentaries. It is pretty funny when someone walks by my desk and sees me drawing a teddy bear while watching a doc about World War I or Marie Antoinette.
- If you want to have a great conversation about a movie.
- If you want to go to an art gallery here in Sac or the Bay Area and none of your friends like that sort of thing.
- If you want to get some cake.
- If you want to tell me a joke.
