My self-summary
(I can't see 'likes' so do drop me a message if you want, even just a 'hi!')

I'm an easy going sort of guy looking for someone to share some experiences with and enhance my already pretty good life. I'm on a pretty fun and exciting journey - if you are interested in riding with me then message me!

I'm really into learning about people and behaviours and a lot of my time is spent reading and learning about psychology, behaviour, popular science, not-so-popular science and technology. I'm a bit of a geek when it comes to gadgets but I believe that technology and science should make our lives better and not more stressful!
What I’m doing with my life
I'm working towards a degree in Person Centred Counselling at CONEL, London just now. I volunteer as a group facilitator for MIND and work as a Life Coach for a charity called Reclaim Life. I support myself by selling new and second hand items on eBay and Amazon.
I’m really good at
Keeping myself amused with fun schemes, reading, study, car boot sales, college, cooking nice food, watching Netflix and self-reflection.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm really open and honest about myself and what I think.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like a good historical fiction book, maybe the Middle Ages, the Romans, Knights, the War all that sort of stuff. I've given up Movies in favour of Netflix series' but if you made me watch any movie it might be Trainspotting or Pretty Woman or maybe Amelie - all depending on my mood of the day. I usually have 3 or 4 books on the go at any time. Right now it is Carl Rogers - On Becoming a Person, Richard Dawkins -The God Delusion, a booker prize winning novel and Eric Bearnes Games People Play. My bookshelf grows faster than the time I have to read!

I'm currently experimenting with vegetarian and vegan recipes with an emphasis on whole foods and really nice stuff. That's working out really well and my cooking skills are improving well. I've just phoned in an order for a take out Indian though so it's not all angelic behaviour .....
Six things I could never do without
Well, I just did a six-month 'experiment' of this when I moved to a remote and unconnected village in Spain with almost no money. BEFORE this, my list may have been as follows (in no particular order)

1) Internet
2) a car
3) a local pub
4) mobile phone
5) my friends
6) money in the bank

After six months of living with very little, my list has changed.... (In a particular order)

1) My family
1) My family
2) My friends
3) Food
4) My health
5) Just enough money to enable 1-4 above satisfactorily
6) The Internet (yeah, well some things are just critical eh?)

Thanks to OKcupid for asking this question because it made me think. I think i knew this change had happened but this is the first time I have put my experience and change of perspective into words.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
People, I guess I spend a lot of time thinking about people. People close to me and people I don't even know.

Myself and the way I perceive myself, others and the World around me. I guess I've always been like this but my counselling studies have allowed me to really delve deep and get some meat on the bones of my wanderings in amateur psychology.

Irrelevant why is that stone rounded and the other one a bit pointy? Is the universe really that big or is it an illusion? Are ants more socially intelligent than humans? Is our 'modern' technology even at the evolutionary stage of the amoeba yet?.
On a typical Friday night I am
Celebrating the fact I had a great week and looking forward to Saturday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I got into bed naked with my best mates mum.

Gladly not as you may expect. This is one of the reasons why I don't drink anymore!
You should message me if
You would like to meet someone new for good conversation, good food , exciting adventures and fun.

Don't message me if it's just all about the sex.
