My self-summary
I love to laugh and have fun. That's where you come in.

The “list of adjectives” those in the know advise I omit include intelligent, curious, artistic, articulate, creative, compassionate. But, gee, if they fit, it’s hard to not list them. I should also include impatient and a few other not-too-complimentary ones. I believe I'm fit and have a mostly healthy lifestyle. I enjoy good food and drink, music, spending time with friends, spending time alone, and life in general. I love to work out as it gives me a rush versus the quiet intense time I spend in my studio as an artist. My open and honest nature seems to pleasantly surprise people. I have been a working artist my whole life and plan to continue. I especially enjoy opportunities that allow me to combine my creativity with entrepreneurial endeavors. While my artwork is in several museum collections, one of my goals is having a piece acquired by a major museum. The creativity feeds me, and so does the challenge. What makes me unique and special is how I see the world, and that’s what has inspired me to create art. As an end note, musically, my steady diet still is rock and roll, and I also enjoy blues, jazz and more.

Hopefully you won’t be a carbon copy of me, but rather will complement me. There is so much of interest in this world that I get excited reading about things I would never have thought of checking out before. And you might be one of them. So if you think we might have a first date/meeting to see if there’s any there there, great!
What I’m doing with my life
I believe my self-summary covered this.
I’m really good at
Saying the first thing that pops into my head (and regretting it sometimes). But I’m working on this. And everyone says I’m a great cook. I’m also a very good artist. Crossword puzzles.
The first things people usually notice about me
I honestly have no idea what the first is! People are often surprised at the open way I express myself.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I read fiction to rest my brain. Movies: I prefer those with stories about people, but I enjoy many types of movies. I have been a movie junkie most of my life. Music: Let's start with I love music. I covered this above: rock, blues, jazz, other. Food: I love to eat and I love good food of any type from anywhere in the world, although I gravitate toward Asian cuisines.
Six things I could never do without
Peace of mind, the company of friends, food, a roof over my head...I'm pretty low maintenance. I'll get back to this if/when I think of something.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I am constantly thinking and sometimes I wish my mind would quiet down a little. Being an artist, I’m a visual person, so I’m always looking at the world around me and allowing the visions to go into my head. If I’m lucky, they come out as finished artwork! This is subconscious, I know, but it’s a lot of what keeps my head busy. Since I’m practical, so much of what I think about is what I have to do to keep my life organized.
On a typical Friday night I am
There are no "typical" nights in my week, and Friday nights are no different than any others. Sometimes I'm home relaxing and sometimes I'm out with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
In addition to men in my age range, I am attracted to men younger than myself - sometimes by a number of years. And yes, it has been reciprocal. A trim, well-taken care of body is important to me.
You should message me if
You are interested in meeting me. If we both feel, upon reading one another's info, that we might like to meet, I find we learn more about each other in a phone call than with ongoing emails.
The two of us
