My self-summary
I'm Patrick/Pat/PY. It changes on the season.

I was one of those Art Student-Of-The-Month kind of guys...enjoying all aspects of design from architecture to graphics. I love to travel and have extensive plans to do so in the future - but being a recent grad makes it a difficult at this particular juncture. For now I'm just a wanderlust young professional who frequents gas station coffee stands and carry outs throughout Toronto. I collect playing cards, find names entirely interesting, and am working on eating more vegetables. I'm an anglophile, portrait artist, and have mosaic of a box of Kraft Dinner as my iphone wallpaper. This is a pretty solid synopsis.

I am wearing glasses, doodling, and probably napping
What I’m doing with my life
After 3 years of packing up my tiny car every three months and migrating to another part of the country for internships, I'm excited to finally kick it into professional cruise control for a while.

The cornfields of Ohio are my home, I went to school in Cincinnati (UC), and have lived in and explored Buffalo, Boston, and Chicago. An industrial/product designer by training, I've recently made the jump overlakes to Toronto to begin work in environmental graphic design. Think more of 'graphics in the outside environment' as opposed to 'compostable brochures'. Great idea, though.

As for extracurriculars, I'm currently taking comedy writing classes - terrifying, but fun. My developing character "Bored Ashley, the narcoleptic cheerleader" seems to be getting rave reviews. This story is currently developing.
I’m really good at
napping is probably way up there. I'm insane at the doodle game. I'm real good with Toad in Mario Kart. I do decent in UNO against my parents. I can make boxed macaroni pretty well - I'm sorry, Kraft Dinner. (I'm assimilating).

I can sketch, pretend to beat box and break dance, and stay up late like a pro too. I'm sure I can out-whistle you, too.
The first things people usually notice about me
It's a tossup between my propensity for subtle eyewear, my muppetastically animated eyebrows, or the fact that I kinda sorta sometimes make up adjectives.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
If you're a female comedian, I'm more than likely reading your shit.

I'm a 5 year old when it comes to my favorite movies - The Goonies, Sandlot, and Clue are classics. I also make a significant amount of Bring It On references. It just happens, lets not get malignant about it.

Shows. I am a completely unabashed lover of reality tv, 30 Rock quotes routinely creep into my everyday conversations, and the act of staying up to ridiculous hours watching Food Network and HGTV you could relatively familiar.

Food? I'm a simple man. I don't like anything chunky. And I'll admit I like fish sticks. I'm a wannabe foodie, but I really can't get over onions.

My music tastes are slowly growing up from the top 40. Though I'm still a fan of whatever Rhianna song is on heavy rotation at the moment, I love me some: Adele (and every other UK export), JT, Maroon 5, Frankmusik, MIA, Miike Snow, Missy Elliot, Girl Talk, Chromeo, Hot Chip, Jay Brannan, Discovery, La Roux, Florence and the Machine, Junior Boys, Kenna, Lykke Li, Ratatat, Santagold, Timbaland, Phantogram, Sleigh Bells...and the Akon i stole from my brother's itunes.
Six things I could never do without
my blanket, chai, a deck of cards, my laptop, a ballpoint pen, and a good idea.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My future - my health, what the next step in my career is, the places I want to travel and live.
On a typical Friday night I am
When visiting home home? Kicking ass in card games against my cousins, brother, and parents. Cuddling with the pup, and making fun of the way my father talks.

In Toronto? A responsible predrink, pinching pennies at the bar, and enjoying the company of my evergrowing Canadian family.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
If I had an episode of MTV's MADE, I'd have to flip a coin on who to become. Heads - Nigel Barker. Tails - Jeff Probst.
You should message me if
You need a good euchre partner, or have some freelance design work you need done. If you're an eyebrow man, or if you laugh a lot.
