My self-summary
I'm just looking for someone who doesn't take life too seriously and knows how to have fun. My ideal Saturday night is staying in and playing trivia games with friends or doing a marathon board game night with wine (Catan anyone? ;) ). I also love going to shows and dancing (even if it's horrible dancing :) ), traveling, and spending a Sunday Funday drinking bottomless mimosas while sitting outside with a bunch of friends. If any of these things sound appealing to you, let me know!

Facts about me:
I love Harry Potter. I went to every midnight book release. Maybe that makes me a dork, maybe it doesn't. I can't say I'm ashamed of it though.

I love chocolate.

I do love chick flicks. I love happy endings. I know they're cheesy and unrealistic, but man, I just love them. And when they have the right music playing in the background? Gets me every time.

I love to read. But I can only read when I have time to finish a book. Because if I get into a book, I can't put it down until I am done. It will consume me. It's a strength and a weakness I would say.

I love going to shows. Guster is my favorite band and I will see them anytime they're in town, I also will travel to places that they are playing, I don't think I could ever see them enough live.

I don't take myself too seriously. One of my favorite things is to go to themed events (90s night, 80s night, etc) and make sure to go all out and dress up. Life is too short to be so serious!

I have an eleven year old daughter. And I'm undecided if I want anymore children. I'll just wait and see where life takes me on that one I guess. I'm not looking for a father for her, she has one...I'm looking for a partner for me, but I do like to lay all my cards on the table up front :)

If you read all that and still think I sound interesting, email me. :)
What I’m doing with my life
I was a preschool teacher for ten years and I just recently graduated from nursing school and am now a labor and delivery nurse. I love it!
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile?

Or my awesome dance moves if you're lucky enough to catch me near some catchy music.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Guster is my favorite band. Zac Brown is a close second. I can listen to any sort of music. I'm not a complete music snob, I definitely know music genius, but I can definitely appreciate a catchy bubble gum song. Anything I can dance to.

Favorite tv shows- fringe, scrubs, the league, cougar town, how i met your mother, friends, gilmore girls, boy meets world
Six things I could never do without
Chocolate.
My family.
Laughter.
Spaghetti.
Music.
Water. Seriously, I could drink 100 oz of water a day and it's still not enough!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where my next vacation is going to be.
On a typical Friday night I am
Drinking wine and playing life. No seriously, that's usually what I'm doing on a Friday night. I love that game!

Sometimes I'll be more exciting and go out dancing, but nights in playing games with good friends is usually more appealing to me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I was five, after seeing the movie "hook", I was convinced captain hook was going to steal me out of my window. I couldn't sleep near windows for a long time.

Also I actually went to space camp when I was eleven. That's right...be jealous! I was the payload commander for our final mission and was very concerned that our mission would fail because I would miss my time sensitive cues. Don't worry, team gum drop was succesful.
You should message me if
You have a beard.

You can accept the fact that I'm still disappointed that I never received a letter to Hogwarts.

You're okay with eating Italian food at least once a week.

The idea of playing life sounds really appealing to you.

You're willing to dress up for whichever dumb themed bar crawl/dance party/game night thing that we're going to.
