My self-summary
This'll do: I am simultaneously moving through two audiobooks.

1. "Better Than Before" by Gretchen Rubin. I'm getting a lot out of it. Her voice is very soothing. Her intonation patterns are really obnoxious at first, and now I find myself mimicking them. Even the phrase "Better Than Before" is symptomatic of her iamb.

Heyyyyy I finished it. Habits created: one. I don't know what habit subtype I am. Questioner moving to Upholder?

2. "Cat Daddy" by Jackson Galaxy. While playing guitar loudly (top-of-lung) on his balcony pointedly annoying his neighbors to the point of threatening to call the police on him, he takes scissors and starts cutting off his dreadlocks and throwing them at the sunbathing couple. One hits "Ken" right in the six-pack. A+ cat tips and cat recovery stories. Political stances I can see myself repeating.

I am "starting" two companies but now it's more like working in them.

One is Coffee+Comic thing - we commission art from comic book artists and screen print it on coffee bags full of FUCKING GREAT COFFEE.

I'm taking care of my friend's cat Hunx who licks my toes very seriously.

I am watching Defiance because my coffee co-founder said it was like Farscape but there's not as much over-acting. I'm hooked. (Update: Only three seasons?)

Camomile tea is really amazing when you find a good one.

I finally broke down and started taking Vitamin D3 (the sun vitamin) and it made a huge difference. Probably placebo, and placebo works.
What I’m doing with my life
Co-parenting a son. Eating as much as possible to fuel CrossFit. Trying my hand at the whole "entrepreneur" deal. Pretending like I have enough time.
I’m really good at
This is hard section to do without coming off like a jerk.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I am so very far into Drum and Bass even though no one listens to it and it's dying and all the good artists are now in the Netherlands but someday I'll be recognized somehow for sticking through it probably when it gets its second cultural heyday in ten years or so (at least in the US we're "bringing back"/regurgitating culture from about 30 years ago)
The six things I could never do without
Indefinite articles, numerals, plural nouns, pronouns, past tense verbs / syntactic markers, adverbs.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Time more than space currently. Ah, that's not quite true. My friend and I were discussing some cool virtual reality art concepts I'd really like to pull off. Layering of realities on top of each other which sounds naughty.

To be honest and somewhat serious, I spend a ton of time thinking about my son, who is turning 3 soon. His angelic blond curls and chubby cheeks and sensitive affect are the highlight of my life.
On a typical Friday night I am
Most shows that I go to happen on Thursdays and Sundays which ... I think I'd prefer Friday perhaps but now my schedule is pretty set to accommodate those things and so while I get the intent of the question (SHOULDN'T you be doing something interesting on a Friday night hmmm?? To which you're supposed to fake it or you are really quite wild! or you take umbrage or whatever) my Fridays at this point are FULL OF LAUGHING SO HARD THAT YOU CRY AND PEE
You should message me if
Well, you won't. But I will.
