My self-summary
emptiness from ear to ear ... the quiet ... it is about to end, you know that feeling? Right before everything breaks loose, the moment of peace and knowing how things are, where they are. I briefly find that place once in a while. I rather like it
What I’m doing with my life
Making the world around me a better place. Corny, I know ... but it is what I am doing. Rehabbing old buildings, helping people work out their differences, in general - making a difference.

Recently completed a BS in Biology/Premed and currently working on a MBA with a healthcare concentration full time. I commute three evenings a week to Albany for class, but can complete the degree online.

I am involved in the community as a volunteer in a variety of roles: volunteer, Mediator, Mentor, and Boardmember for a nonprofit.

Selling my home and my investment property this spring/summer (2017) and moving. Have no plan as to where yet, no job prospects locally and dating is either college kids or retirees.
I’m really good at
working with my hands and my mind, sometimes at the same time even! Writing papers, graduate school provides a plethora of opportunities to practice writing!
The first things people usually notice about me
Have always been told either my hands or my eyes. You'll have to be the judge
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I enjoy reading a variety of fiction and nonfiction. Although lately I am reading more Business Administration text books than anything else.

I like a movie, like a fiction book - one that I can get lost in. Not real big on horror flicks, pretty much enjoy anything else if it is entertaining or interesting.

Food, they need to write a whole new profile for food. I love to cook and love to eat great food! Every thing from simple peasant fare to fine dining or fusion food. There is very little I do not like when it comes to food, once we leave the processed foods behind!
Six things I could never do without
Q-tips, Green Tea, great food, interesting conversation, soap, and ... hmmm six is too limiting!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to make a positive impact efficiently and effectively. Improving one persons life then touches countless others and creates the desire to replicate what happened.

The farce of a society and government within which we live. Soon the frosted window will break and all will be shocked to see the true state of our existence. Central Banks, fed reserve, have never worked and in each of their three occurrences in our country, they have brought financial ruin to all but the extremely wealthy. Handing out fish does not make for a better society, teaching each person to fish does. ok, ok putting the soap box away.
On a typical Friday night I am
I do not do the bar or club thing, it was no longer very much fun.

Making dinner, exploring new restaurants, put with friends, watching a movie at home. Unfortunately at times I am busy researching and writing.

Would love to meet someone to go on hikes with, explore the region, eat amazing food and have wonderful conversations with.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
you would have to ask me, I am not shy

Since these are the first questions in this area, I do not have children- by choice. I own a house and investment property. I own my own vehicle, never had a DWI so my license is current and clean. I have been married - it didn't work out, I wasn't the one to throw in the towel and quit and wasn't the one to stop working on it. That doesn't make me better, just aware that relationships require work and I am willing to do that.
