My self-summary
I'm kind, compassionate, funny, frank, optimistic, intelligent and competent at things other than navigating and making it to places on time. (Two things that are kind of a big deal on first dates-so I've got that going for me.)

Looking for a partner in crime who likes board games, going out to eat, staying in and cooking, marathoning Netflix, and is generally a chill human being who likes to cuddle and more.

I am on here because I believe in the math behind okC. I've been on and off okC over the years between relationships and it has resulted in a relationship for me in the past. I also believe it is way more likely to result in a successful date than randomly hitting on people on the Red Line. :-)

I am actually interested in meeting in person, but please have something in your profile!
What I’m doing with my life
I work overnights as a pediatric psychiatric nurse, live in a co-op, and occasionally spend time on this app. I'm going back to graduate school in January-I am so excited about this. I am four classes away from sitting for my board exams to be a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Really looking forward to graduating and becoming certified.
I’m really good at
Listening to others, helping others, and running in high heels.
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't know. Lame answer but you can tell me when we meet.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
(a) Flow, Nicomachean Ethics, Notes From the Underground, the Kate Daniels series, Mercy Thompson novels, War & Peace, Imzadi, Motherless Daughters, Essays, Sex at Dawn

(b) Idiocracy, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, The Avengers, Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, Oscar, Empire Records, Boondock Saints, The Saint, Dogma, Saved!, Stigmata, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, American President, While You Were Sleeping, Definitely, Maybe, Van Wilder, Rules of Attraction, Easy A, The King's Speech, Star Trek: First Contact, Wolverine (Yeah, yeah. I know everyone said it sucked, but I liked it, goddammit! If only they hadn't used CGI in that sink scene...)

(c) South Park, The League, and pretty much everything HBO makes.

(d) Ed Sheeran, Lucas Graham, TOOL, Adele, and most top 100 hits. It's worth noting that I'm always open to hearing new music. I have little musical snobbery, I mean, I adore opera, but if left to my own devices I'll usually pick music from today's top artists like B96 or something soothing like Tibetan gongs.

(e) Thai, Italian, New American, French, Classic American, Vegetarian, Paleo
The six things I could never do without
My Apple Music subscription, sleep, food, clean tasty water, my friends, time alone.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The moment I'm in, and how to execute various tasks more efficiently.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably at work.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I really want to learn how to play Go.
You should message me if
You've read and loved the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs. Seriously.

Failing that high standard, if you have some shade of nerdiness in you, you are funny, think I'm attractive, and are interested in meeting up for a date to see if we have chemistry.

It's worth noting that I'm not on here for pen pals, and I don't have a car and I live on the North side of the city so if you live in Indiana or out in the southwest suburbs it might be technically difficult to meet up on a regular basis.
