My self-summary
I just moved South. Looking for new opportunities and hoping to make some new friends along the way, but I am not into Jesus or football, so not sure how much luck I will have with that.

What is fun to do in Chattanooga?

I tend to get along with nerds, geeks, artists, musicians, eccentrics, bohemians and other "non-conformist" types.

I tend not to get on as well with people who take their beliefs too seriously.

I majored in philosophy in college, and I learned nothing, in the Socratic sense (not the Heideggerian sense).

I have been know to go to shows in bars/clubs/basements/art galleries in my day. A lot of my friends are musicians.
What I’m doing with my life
Writing the Great American Novel and working my day job (which I actually like).

Making music and art.

Watching Reruns of Star Trek: TNG for the hundredth time.
I’m really good at
Taking overly serious self portraits.

Photography, video, editing, writing, conversation, music (alright, i am only ok at that)
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair. Its long.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books - I listening to audio books all the time at work. Regular books I read about one a month (wanna start a book of the month club?). I also have really been getting into comics over the last few years. Currently reading The Sandman (got the first volume of the omnibus).

Movies - Science Fiction. I like Ridely Scott, Stanley Kubric and a few other directors a lot. I also love James Bond movies. I also love going to the movies. (movie theater popcorn usually gives me an upset stomach though...) Premiere dates of new movies get marked in my phone's calendar.

TV - Doctor Who, Star Trek, Game of Thrones, The Shield, The Wire (more than a show, its an education in society. Yes, I am one of those people), BattleStar Galactica, MI5, Boardwalk Empire, The Americans, Daria (I can relate to that character a lot, especially in high school), The Avengers (the 60s show with Emma Peel) Basically Spy shows, Sci-Fi and Cop shows that break out of the usual formula.
The six things I could never do without
...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Ideas for stories.
On a typical Friday night I am
Try to be productive. I am never without a list of personal projects.

Veg out and watch TV/Movies or read.
You should message me if
Because, reasons?

I hope that I have included something on this profile that could be the basis for a conversation (unlike most people on this site)
