My self-summary
Widowed for 13 years. Interested in dark ladies or redhead light skinned ladies between 29-42, tall and slender. My late wife was older and window shut quickly on having children. I have no children so I can be quite interested in having a child. I'm very active. Work out six days a week. Fireplace in winter. Convertible in summer. Would probably have enough time and resources to look after a child--stay at home Dad since my biz is very flexible now. Love to cook, music, write, travel (overseas once a year). Honesty is very important. Sincere but comical too, as you can see from my stage name in the pic. I enjoy regalling audiences briefly before and after my songs. Usually get a laugh or three. I go to Georgia often. Sis and family there. Love the mountains and Atlanta area.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm semi-retired but will work on and on because I love it. Insurance. I don't overwork. Karaoke is my form of golf, though I usually need new songs or I'm bored. Travel overseas once a year, mostly for weeks at a time. Just returned from 2 mths. in UK visiting friends, plays, concerts and karaoke, of course. Hiking. Birdwatching. I play five instruments, keyboard, flute and harmonica mainly.
I’m really good at
Music. Communication. Debate. Integrity. Humor--it's different. Writing. Math. Mooning the cops then running away. Starting revolutions. lol
The first things people usually notice about me
Hair. Eyes (blue). Voice. Huge imagination. Similarity to most revolutionary figures throughout history. lol
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Shakespeare (Earl of Oxford), Graham Greene, John Mortimer, Russians, Trollope (in bed--lol), Dickens, treatises. Foreign films or directors: Herzog, Emmerich (met him 2 yrs ago year in London), any major Greene adaptation. Fox News, C-Span, anything with lovely black women: Friday Night Lights to CSI Miami re-runs, L and O UK (Freema!!!), Prime Minister's Questions, Book TV, Top Gear, anything with Aisha Tyler. Most cuisines but I do much low-cholesterol foods like oriental, curry, cajun if low fat also, soul, BBQ, medit, salad, fish dishes. Currently like ice cream (I'm tapering off) but is a violation and a vice. May bake more soon. Starting to eat much Icelandic (ice water then steamed water chased by bottled water). Part of my Nordic heritage. lol
Six things I could never do without
books, music, sleep, quiet-time for Deistic reflection, decent food, exercise
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Right from wrong. Those who need a prayer. Saving money--it's a great game. Future of Federal Government--effectiveness of State Government by comparison. Military--our best people of all, all, all. I adore their dedication so much.
On a typical Friday night I am
At home reading after O'Reilly with a nice meal though lately I've been going to karaoke. Really all depends. Friday's a good night to try to incite a revolution. lol
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I secretly work for the CIA and NSA and hate to have to report to Hagel each day. If you're an enemy of the state, you're in trouble now! lol About to go to Outer Mongolia to investigate the familial origins of the Mongolian Cluster...oh, that's double top secret. Never mind. lol
You should message me if
you are really intersted and want to at least give me a try. We can meet up at BBQ shoppe (a fave) or the new fusion bbq place on Brookhaven Cir. since I haven't yet been there, then karaoke. Weeknights are as early or as late as you want to make it in case you work the next day. I'm quite open. You'll enjoy it. I play flute and harmonica while I sing. It's my golf. Jokes and tales interspersed. Movies if they're good. Mostly foreign or special like The Help or Anonymous. Restaurants--will do steak then. Like variety--curry, Thai, Chinese, Russian, Icelandic (lol) Maybe a hike, birdwatching, organizing a bunch of seniors for a late night Chinese Fire Drill in a bus near Third and Madison on Saturday night (most of them get lost or forget what they're doing, suddenly think they're shopping or get in other cars--it's funny). The cops arrest them since I flee the scene and I watch nearby since I've appointed one of them to be in charge and drive. I then bail them out and then try to have them revolt against the authorities. I've done it so many times I'm getting jaded so I'll have to think of something else that's practical. lol
The two of us
