My self-summary
I like to create. Drawing, painting, composing and thinking and talking about both these things. First one to send me a message earns a cookie!
What I’m doing with my life
Being a freelance designer atm so everything underneath still counts, but you can add 'having truckloads of time' to it. Less hours, more money :p I just got a new atelier though for my traditional painting :) Here's some of my digital work: http://www.lennartverhoeff.net

And these are my paintings: http://www.lennartverhoeff.net/traditional

Working as a 2d Artist in the Dutch Games-Industry, drawing on my oversized Cintiq, enjoying my furry friend Yoshi, playing with my synths, pushing buttons, making noises, ocassionaly still playing one of my guitars, and slowly fixing up my house. :)
I’m really good at
Drawing/painting, being stubborn, getting lost in the flow of creating a piece of music. Being nice. Playing with words. Puzzling people while doing that. (so maybe I'm not that good) Having fun, dancing in a stupid way.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I look like either Giel Beelen, Steve O, Brainpower or Ethan Hawke. I might be a shapeshifter.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite books are classic or contemporary art-books or books on anatomy. It's not that I don't like to read but I'd rather 'read' something to learn from it or get inspired. And when I do read, it's a lot of Terry Pratchett. Discworld is hilarious :) Also: Clive Barker, Neil Gaiman, Herman Brusselmans.

Movies: You can feed me anything from a balls-out action flick to art-house and pretty much everything in between. Don't expect me to go with you to a chick-flick or Twilight EVER though. :p

Music: This is where it gets interesting. I'm a musical omnivore. I can go from extreme death-metal, to electro, to singer-songwriter and back while humming all the bad things the 80s an 90s brought us.
Rule of thumb: When it's in the top 40 I generally don't listen to it. Everything slighty more edgy is a go.

Food: I like it. Nomnomnomnomnom.
Six things I could never do without
My eyes, my ears, pencil & paper, music, the internet, my friends, the sun, water.. erhm, yeah. dus.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Something to draw, something to compose, how to get better at what I do. My next move. Moving to New York because apparently I have a over 90% match with a lot of women there according to this website.
People mistaking self confidence for arrogance. Why I'm always the 'best friend' when I want to be the lover, which sounds pretty dramatic en pathetic even but happens quite a lot :p
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't like internet-dating stuff at all, but I do like writing things about myself. It helps putting things in perspective. Pretty boring eh?
I'm constantly fine-tuning this profile for whatever reason.
You should message me if
If you're interested? And a creative person who loves music, thinking, drinking... Thinking while drinking and listening to music. Do I sound like an alcholic? :p Anyhoot: Someone who leads her own life, knows what she wants, will pursue her dreams and doesn't dismiss my work as: You're just drawing. And doesn't mind me playing video-games. And most of all will never tell me to finally grow up.
