My self-summary
Who wants to go see Phantom of the Opera with me? (Next time it comes to town). I do! Let me know if you want to join too!

Feeling down? http://www.27bslash6.com/sad.html

OK, now that I got that out of my system (thanks to whomever pointed me to that), hello!

I've been away for a while. I'd say it's because I've been 'finding myself', but in the end it turns out I've been right here the whole time! Anyway, I didn't have time to dedicate to anything outside my professional life in the past, however I'm now at the point in my career that I can balance personal relationships as well (as long as you are OK if I choose to work late (8pm) 2x/week).

I am outgoing, confident, and courteous. I served 5 years in the U.S. Army and, after graduating college, am now working in risk management at a well respected firm. I like pretty much everything as long as there's great conversation involved. I don't bite; hit me up!
What I’m doing with my life
I do risk management (none of that "Along Came Polly" crap, entertaining movie though). I've spent a substantial amount of time in the last few years preparing for my future and now... it's here (kinda weird reaching long-term goals). So now that I have TONS of more free time then I did in the past I'm really looking forward to focusing on my personal relationships.
I’m really good at
I'm great at finding unorthodox dates (or maybe that means I'm terrible at social norms?) Regardless, I'm not quite sure what might be relevant here but any suggestions would be appreciated.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm extremely outgoing and smile constantly.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favorite food would be turkey burgers from a certain local burger place I might take you to if you ask nicely, bat your eye-lashes, and smile (I'm a sucker for cliches). I loved Ender's Game (and the sequels), Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Gatsby (and most of Fitzgerald's other work), "Apathy (and other small victories)", and a few more I can't think of. In terms of music I like everything, but especially country and alternative.
The six things I could never do without
1. Music. Well, I guess I could do without it, but it would kinda suck.
2. Food. (Yes, I took that easy one. I'll also mention "drink" here.)
3. There aren't really a whole lot of things I can't do without...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How I can change the world for the better.
On a typical Friday night I am
Depends. Sometimes I stay in, or if there's actually something interesting going on (festivals, parties, poker... pretty much anything, really) I'll do that. I also love going out to eat with friends or just hanging out. I'm not really into the 'bar' scene since they're typically too loud for a conversation, but I love going out in a group and grabbing some drinks and just talking about w/e.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I like cats that are 4 or 5 feet head to tale, 2-3 feet tall, love people and play fetch. Wait- dogs. I like dogs.
You should message me if
You are logical, direct, and assertive- someone that can tell me if I've done something wrong instead of "Well, if YOU don't know, I'm CERTAINLY not going to tell you!"
