My self-summary
My name is Ian and I live in moved to Chico CA to attend the MBA program at Chico State. I am a man of few words, and have always been amazed about how I can summarize my weekend in two sentences when a friend takes almost 30 minutes to tell the same story.

I am also trying to get my profile up to 1000 words for the 100% completion nonsense.

I am Humble, humorous, and intelligent
What I’m doing with my life
I graduated from SDSU in 2008 and and started the MBA program at Chico State in Fall of 2009. I have no idea what I am going to do with an MBA, but I am hoping I will figure it out within the next year. As far as work goes I have been jumping through hoops trying to get an emergency credential so I can be a substitute teacher. I am registered with at least 50 schools and I still only get called twice a week.

I have taken up training for triathlons. There is a club in Chico that recently started and It has really lit the fire. I also like it because it gives me an excuse to wear a speedo at the gym. The first actual Triathlon was in May 2010 and I got destroyed on the bike. I did the Tin Man in September and got 132. I didn't get "destroyed" on the bike this time, but I still did pretty terrible.
I’m really good at
Listening and giving advice, Too good in fact. All of my friends just talk about their problems now, It is getting old.
I am also a master of "out of left field" comedy. I call it comedy, but it is more awkward comments that have little to do with the current situation and make even less sense. I have heard that it works for me, but my friends can be assholes sometimes so who knows.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have an interesting sense of humor that people really don't understand at first. It usually sounds like I am being insulting, but I am always just kidding around. Sorry if I say something that sounds offensive, it is just a joke, I promise.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: American Psycho, East of Eden, Fight Club, The Metamorphosis, anything with a plot. Huge red flag if you like Jane Austen; If I had an arch nemesis it would be that devil woman.
I just recently started reading Chris More and love everything he touches.

Movies: Dogma, Who Framed Roger Rabit, Pulp Fiction, Donnie Darko, Happy Gilmore. I don't really watch movies by myself, I view them as more of a social thing.

Music: I like a lot of crap.

Food: I am the pickiest person on the planet. I like peperoni pizza, rice, beans. There is more, but you get the idea.
Six things I could never do without
This is an interesting question. I have actually attempted this when I almost became homeless one summer. I need either video games, movies, tv or books, but I am ok with just one of those. I need social interaction, I don't feel like there is any point to life if you don't interact with others. I also found that I always missed my toothbrush when I didn't have it.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Nonsense. I used to rack my brain about which guys are straight and which guys are pretending, but I think I finally got over that. Now I rack my brain about weather or not an MBA is actually going to help or if it is only going to make things worse.
On a typical Friday night I am
Spending time with friends. Usually people are at my place, but I will hunt someone down if I have to
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I was in marching band for 10 years
You should message me if
Major bonus points if a) you golf, b) The word "beer" doesn't make you cringe and c) you like video games. Don't be discouraged if that doesn't apply to you, it just means you don't get bonus points
