My self-summary
I am a fun-loving, social geek. I program, but I also play bass guitar. Play board games and go to gigs. Read compulsively and try to rollerskate, possibly at the same time. Originally from England, I've moved to the bay area for new adventures... And work, but mostly the adventures.

I love discovering new things, gadgets, places and expanding my mind whenever possible. I'm a born engineer and ambitious, if you give me a machine it's more likely to be dismantled than used. It also means I am always in the middle of one improvement project or another, currently this is retuning my rollerskates.

I'm on here looking to meet someone for some casual fun. I'm not interested in a relationship right now.
What I’m doing with my life
Muddling through and occassionally freaking out a bit about the big 3 0 and everyone marrying and having kids.
I’m really good at
Trivia, I have one of those brains that will forget half the shopping list when at the supermarket but knows that all Polar Bears are actually not left handed, A.A. Milne was jealous of P.G. Wodehouse's success, Shakespeare made up the word Assassin and the Japanese don't distinguish between blue and green... All I can say is that my head has weird priorities apparently!
The first things people usually notice about me
... apparently I look like Harry Potter. I am not entirely sure I believe this but I was mistaken for him at the Warner Studio Tours so maybe there is something to it. Let me know if you see the resemblance?

I spend a lot of time thinking about
42

- If you get that reference, we're likely to get on.
On a typical Friday night I am
I love my friends and there's no better way to spend a friday night than playing some board games or getting a drink with them.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I want to be a rollerskating master... but I have no sense of balance! Of course it doesn't stop me trying and making a total fool of myself, but if at first you don't succeed try, try and try again... and again.
You should message me if
You are interested in a chat, a boardgame or just having a good time.
