My self-summary
I'm pretty all over the place, or maybe well balanced. Exercise, being lazy, going out, staying in, music, motorcycles, books, movies, traveling, establishing roots, hotels, tents, work, not work. I want to do it all!
What I’m doing with my life
*update 8/6/16- I am moving to the Cincinnati area to be closer to some of my family and pursue a job opportunity. I can have a good time doing anything with the right people, and am looking to meet some of those people in the Cincinnati area.
I’m really good at
making Seinfeld references, knowing every classic rock song, and not being on my phone when I'm with people.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
This category doesn't mean anything in terms of compatibility, but I like making lists. And movies, music, and books are personally important to me.

Notes from the Underground, Post office, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Kafka on the Shore, Les Miserables, Everything is Illuminated, How Music Works.

The Coen Brothers, Marx Brothers, Wes Anderson, Stanley Kubrick, Quentin Tarantino, Hitchcock, PT Anderson, Woody Allen, Christopher Guest, Christopher Nolan- those are my filmmakers. Also can't get enough action/adventure and comedy.

Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Mighty Boosh, Breaking Bad, most documetaries.

The Beatles, George Harrison, Daft Punk, AIR, Hot Chip, Grateful Dead, The Clash, The Band, Eric Clapton, Chromeo, Frank Sinatra, The Beach Boys, Stephen Malkmus, Ratatat, Elton John, Joe Pass, Radiohead, Lalo Schifrin soundtracks, Steely Dan, Elliot Smith, The Gorillaz.

I am eternally seeking the perfect dive- where the burgers are greasy, the bill is cheap, the service is lousy, and the waitstaff has been there for 40 years. I love cooking too. I am definitely a live-to-eater.
The six things I could never do without
good people
taste buds
I could live without beer, but I would definitely be unhappy if I could never have it again.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
why paperweights exist... I mean where do these people work where they have papers flying around everywhere? Occasionally I think about time, space, and other existential predicaments, but mostly I try to understand things like paperweights.
On a typical Friday night I am
pretty low key. I cook for the week, so I like to go out and indulge Friday night. Nothing says start-of-the-weekend like going out to get a gigantic burger and with some beer. These days I'm more bar and grill than metal biker bar.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I love sardines.
You should message me if
I would like to meet someone who has a fairly stable life, a good relationship with their family, and who loves to eat food.
