For most of my life i've been an insatiably curious person. Currently i would say i'm an gardening nut/ outdoor enthusiast with an odd ability to make something out of nothing. In the last 8 years I've worked as a baker of amazing breads, glass blower, cast bronze statues, researcher at a remote lab in the mountains and am NOW a traveling wind turbine technician. Still insatiably curious however now i have a job that actually pays the bills!
*This may come as a shock to some folks, but those of us who travel for work occasionally STILL want normal lives, with close friends and even a monogamous relationship. Currently saving up for a 20 acre hobby farm and tiny house (yes i have built them before) so long term roots are important!
I believe a persons life is best represented by the sum of their experiences. Elementary philosophy, i know. But simply put, as long as you are truly passionate about something in life, your ahead of the rest in my book even if your descriptions are lacking in eloquence. And yes, i think awkward geekiness is rather endearing. actually i'll go so far as to say if you dont have a shamelessly dorky side, we probably wont get along.
Other then that i love to build things, practical or artistic. My main reason for going back to school for Wind Energy was to afford all the fun wood, meta, glass, ceramics, tools i need. Oh and save up for a farm with a tiny house. *something i'm building by late summer if all goes well
Have been working with wood since i was 15, glass and bronze since my first degree (Fine arts), and ceramics since a year ago January. I'm good at being a jack of all trades certainly!
For that matter my favorite all time author would be Kurt Vonnegut. So hard to not want a 'so it goes' tattoo...
all episodes of MacGuyver
its all anyone should ever need
Building a toboggan.
riding my bike with my dog, enjoying the river bicycle trail and stars.
There is no real 'typical' other then riding a bicycle is cheap entertainment and keeps my 110 lb dog from driving me crazy
So that is INFJ if you believe in Meyers Briggs, a Gemini if you believe in astrology. Either way, i'm hardworking, loyal to a serious fault, and have made plenty of mistakes in life. If you have not made a few, we wont get along.
anything else you want to know you're going to have to have the nerve to ask. *and reciprocate!!!
Oh.... and I spend the first 28 years of my life in Ohio and the last 7 trying to live that down
...you take care of yourself (physically and mentally)
...you are not an unforgiving perfectionist
...you are not afraid to meet someone you would actually date. This ties in with vulnerability so lets just say "...if you do not fear vulnerability" All your achievements mean nothing if you are unwilling to open up and share them.
