My self-summary
Self-summary? I have read many and written a few. It is becoming more and more clear that we need to expand our source of adjectives. We all sound pretty much alike! It sure does make it tough to stand out among the masses. I would have to say the best way to differentiate between me and 20 other 50-something year old professional, divorced women, would be to just meet me! Friends and family describe me as kind, easy to be with, and very cute! I don't even have to pay them to say so. I am very grateful for having wonderful people in my life.

The time has come to include more fun, pleasure, a little adventure and a lot more relaxation to my life. I am spontaneous...but not impulsive. Huge difference! I am not perfect and am not looking for perfection. I would like to meet a man who accepts me for me and I will do the same for him. At this point in life we have all have a past. Our experiences make us the person we are today. Hopeful, full of memories, with great stories to share.

I am just as happy staying at home as I am going out. I appreciate my alone time and don't feel the need to be glued to anyone 24/7, BUT who doesn't love the feeling of having that "special someone" you cant wait to talk to and see again.
I like that we live in an area of the country that offers so much to see and do. I like to get out and wander, head any direction and check out the local sights and restaurants.

I was born and raised in the mid-west where I was lucky enough to spend my summers on the lakes of Minnesota. I love being near any body of water, lakes, rivers, the ocean, it doesn't matter. I have only had the pleasure of traveling within the United States and would some day like to spread my wings a little more and travel to other parts of the world.
What I’m doing with my life
There is when I can. And I absolutely make sure to carve out time from the day-to-day for physical, mental and spiritual fitness. Yoga, swimming and journaling are a few of my favorites.
I’m really good at
Making people feel comfortable in difficult or stressful situations. Though I don't cook as much as I used to, I am an excellent cook and enjoy it very much.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have been told I have friendly eyes and a great smile. I just know I have that face that just begs strangers to ask for directions.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
There are too many books to mention. I tend to read non-fiction more than fiction.
My favorite movies tend to depend on my mood; can't pass up a Clint Eastwood movie, enjoy a light comedy, as I believe movies are meant to entertain. This time of year "Young Frankenstein" is a must!
I am a fan of the 70's, classic rock, southern rock, but also have a great appreciation for classical and opera. I grew up with a father who was a dedicated opera fan. Favorite food is simple. Anything that is shared with others.
The six things I could never do without
I admit I do love my creature comforts. Lots of pillows on my bed, a/c on a hot day, coffee is a must, sunshine, the love of my family and amazing friends, and the freedoms living here in this great United States provide us.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future of my mom, my kids and this country. Continuing my education. Planning a fabulous vacation!
On a typical Friday night I am
Typically unwinding from the week at home or out to dinner with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Only that when and if I am will be admitted in "private".
You should message me if
You are honest, open minded, want to laugh, have fun and are sincere about your intentions, whatever they may be.
