My self-summary
Hi,

How to sum up my life in fifty words or less?? I am an intelligent, independent, and interesting person. I am at a point in my life where I am looking for new adventures. I have worked for the same school system for almost thirty years, and my children are now adults and living on their own. I have spent the past four years getting settled in my new life and spent an entire year totally rehabbing my house. I feel that I might be interested in meeting new people and broadening my horizons.

I am humorous, warm-hearted, and creative
What I’m doing with my life

Movies; I like most movies except horror and stupid teen flicks (including most of Adam Sadler's movies). I like sappy romantic movies as well as action flicks. I have watched all of the James Bond, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Star Trek movies. I like Disney cartoon movies. I enjoy foreign movies as well as documentaries.

Music: I like different types except rap. I like James Taylor, Annie Lennox, Rascal Flats, Queen, Beatles, Supertramp, Billy Joel, Trisha Yearwood, and David Bowie

Food; most except spicy and weird foods. I love hamburgers, fries, pizza, Italian, Chinese, fried chicken, salads, seafood, and vegetables.
The six things I could never do without
1. My wonderful, adult, independent children. They are currently in training to treat me well in my old age.
2. My sense of humor
3. Bubba, my albino ape Christmas ornament. To see him is to love him
4. My ability to learn, hope, and experience wonder in the world.
5. Chocolate and desserts
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My next adventure
On a typical Friday night I am
Friday is my eating out and unwind from the week day. Maybe it is a video or going out to a movie. Maybe it going out and doing something new.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am a big disaster movie fan and have seen most of them....Earthquake, Dante's Peak, Towering Inferno Day After Tomorrow... I am also willing to admit that I an the proud owner of several of them.
