I´m just another snowman
Standing in the rain and sleet,
Who loved you with his frozen love
His second-hand physique -
With all he is, and all he was
A thousand kisses deep.
I tend bar.
i'm a bit of a factotum, as i have worked in many a various field(anywhere from film-directing/editing/gaffing, music(playing/recording), architecture, screen-printing, butchery, management, telemarketing, and even real estate). i am always looking for ways to improve myself, which is more often than not, educationally related. i lived in LA for the past 10 years but moved to austin january, 2010.
i play bass for a blackened-thrash band:
Big fan of gardening/homesteading.
i was a chef for around 6 years and specialize in traditional japanese and french cuisines, however, I have left that field to work in bars. I'm sick of being poor, even though I love cooking and still do it almost everyday!
try to go out as much as possible to see/be with friends.
i LOVE sitting around drinking coffee, listening to vinyl, while doing a crossword puzzle. i fucking adore crosswords.
i'm generally very enthusiastic about things, but unless it is something that i have a specific amount of knowledge or passion for, i'm a very quiet person. i can sometimes go days without speaking a single word, but get me on the right topic and i'll talk your ear off for hours!
the typical/cliche struggle...
finished school, travelled a lot, reassessed my situation by comparison to the grand scheme of society's standards and moved to austin, and i find myself working often.
i'm pretty into philosophy, the occult, art(very selective), social-theory, and having long long discussions that swell and flux between akin topics for hours on end!
i guess i'm pretty good at cooking as i've been doing it for a few years.
i can play quite a few instruments well, but who doesn't right?
Videogames, specifically first person shooters(i.e. call of duty, battlefield 3, etc.) and Tetris! I actually hold the first place record for Tetris in the largest arcade in shibuya station(Tokyo)!
i'm great at putting myself through pain and struggle, knowing that at the end of it i'll be better off for having been through it. similarly, i feel i have a fairly high level of self discipline. some Nietzsche-esque traits i picked up.
"Everyone who has ever built anywhere a new heaven first found the power thereto in his own hell."
also great at navigating unknown cities.

and, i'm secretly a hopeless romantic:
what've you got to lose eh?! i think life is really too short to be coy.
JUST DO IT! DON'T THINK, JUST DO IT!
