My self-summary
I'm aware of how awkward it is to promote yourself with what amounts to a soundbite.

My parents were hippies. I'm adamantly blue collar in some ways, and conversely have college professors and other supposed intellectuals as friends. I'm fundamentally apposed to viewing life from a dog eat dog mentality, yet respect those that work hard as a matter of instinct almost. I think too much, and yet not enough. I feel I'm mostly aware, yet that makes me realize how asleep we all are. I'm practical in some ways, yet I have my head in the clouds.

What I’m doing with my life
That's a really good question.

I strive to fix it so I live life. In that I try to balance the pursuit of material things with surroundings that benefit me, it's why I'm self employed, I choose my hours, and the time I spend on business.
I'm still I suppose in pursuit of the muse. I spend an awful lot of time on music and art. Personally I believe it keeps me sane and happy. I can easily see myself eventually gravitating towards sound design/media as a living, but I'm not opposed to multiple choices for income. I would like to travel more, and that will happen.
I’m really good at
I seem to be someone most people feel is approachable. Not fond of the term, but down to earth I guess.

I'm creative. In any band I've been in I've been the main songwriter.

Obviously I can fix things, and in general have a good ability to troubleshoot cars/computers household stuff. I'm well versed in Mac OSX etc.
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't mind a debate or taboo subject if it's a stimulating conversation.

I'm obsessed with music, and am neither 'grown up' or have Peter Pan syndrome.

I get what I want most of the time if I put my mind to it.

I'm the freakiest straight drug free person you'll likely meet.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'll list things here, but honestly one thing about growing older is realizing that my 'taste' is not objective, therefore I really don't have good taste per say.

Books- what they call modern classics are my favorites. Kafka, Flannery O' Coner, Nabokov, HG Wells, Poe etc.

Music- all, with the exception of a low tolerance for too much pop sheen, or 'indie' poetic nonsense. Honestly though I play music, and experimental, cutting edge, noisy and un-produced sounding stuff is my favorite. Also fond of exploitation bands and bands that take things too seriously to the point of being sort of fun for it.

Movies- varied, any comedy, some horror, some sci fi, some art house, but mostly real life based dramas do it for me. Mike Leigh, Bergman, Kurosawa, with Lynch and Kubrick. Any movie based on a Tennessee Williams, or Mamet Play.

Food- I'm vegan, it's not an issue for me if others aren't, it's a personal choice.
Six things I could never do without
Music <----- that was easy

and yes, it counts as six. :b

See? 4 out of six are about music.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The embryonic angry child mess that mankind is still wallowing in. Not a good subject for peace of mind, but it collectively feeds the muse, so..
On a typical Friday night I am
Working in the studio.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm shy if I like a girl, yet don't know if she likes me.
