I'm a bit of a late bloomer. I had no idea what I wanted to do out of high school so I spent my late teens and the first half of my 20s in the working world. Eventually I discovered that it's hard to get anywhere without a degree, so I traded my full time job for a part time waiter gig and recommitted myself to school. Four and a half years later, I had my engineering degree.
I enjoy trying new things, even if I am reluctant to do so at times. I've recently tried my hand at rock climbing. I want to go skydiving at some point in the relative near future. It terrifies me, but I want to do it.
When I'm not at work, I like to make time to see friends and family. I've been an avid video game player throughout my life and I also enjoy board and card games. Cards Against Humanity or a game of Munchkin is a fantastic way to spend an evening with friends.
I've been a (very) amateur artist and musician in my life and I like to continue to dabble in those things when time allows.
