My self-summary
Describing yourself it pretty tough, but here goes. I have a wicked sense of humor that usually makes people either completely crack up or roll their eyes. I like my job; prefer scotch over beer; enjoy anime; hooked on shows like Jekyll, Heroes and John from Cincinnati; read a lot and always try to look something up if I'm curious about it. Couldn't live without On-Demand. I also probably have too many books, i.e., I need more bookshelves. I like sports but am not a fanatic; like to stay in shape and work out 4-5 days, both weight training and some aerobic activity a week. Not quite a fitness junkie though. Love to work outside during the summer (gardening, painting, etc.), I also play tennis and softball.

I am calm, stable, and funny
What I’m doing with my life
Working, exercise, planning next year's garden.
I’m really good at
Answering questions, coming up with obscure references, fixing things, getting up before the alarm clock goes off, and puns (okay, bad puns).
The first things people usually notice about me
I have no idea.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Probably too many to name. For books I enjoy the Harry Potter Series, and authors like Dan Brown, James Clavell, Clive Cussler, Ken Follett, James Michener, Martin Cruz Smith and the list goes on. Currently hooked on Patricia Briggs's books. I also read a lot of historical non-fiction, reference books and graphic novels (I think I've got enough to fill a small town library). I like Sci fi, horror and adventure movies, plus the occasional comedy (Bueller?). I love old movies like The Thin Man and the screwball comedies of the 30's. A lot of Asian movies too like Kurosawa films,j-horror, and yes even Godzilla (who doesn't like a guy in a big rubber suit). I don't listen to much music, but I do like classic rock but overall have a pretty ecletic taste.
Six things I could never do without
Books, TV, sleeping later on the weekends, my Treo (don't leave home without it!), car, and I can't really think of much else.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Tomorrow, work, family, etc., not necessarily in that order.
On a typical Friday night I am
At home or visiting relatives or friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm wearing braces. There, I said it.
