My self-summary
I like nature and being active, I like people who embrace their strangeness, I care deeply about the violence our society imposes on so many people for simply existing, I am shy and I like people who smile too much (not exclusively though). I like to have fun and I'm up for most things that are fun even if they're a little dangerous.
What I’m doing with my life
I studied Geology at UMass and now I'm staying in the valley because I like it here. Working in education, interested in teaching and writing and exploring various creative hobbies. Wanting to spend more time on creative pursuits. My next project is a giraffe costume to bike around in.
I’m really good at
jokes
The first things people usually notice about me
I have big glasses. Sometimes people stare and I have to say, "Hey buddy, my eyes are back here."
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Vonnegut, LeGuin, Murakami, Brautigan and Calvino are my favorites. Also I love A Confederacy of Dunces, have read it a couple times, highly recommend it. I haven't been reading enough lately.

I love almost all food. I'm not a picky eater. I really love high quality food, cooking, and being cooked for.

Music is wonderful and I like most of it and I like to dance to it. Recent favorites are Nicki Minaj, Home Body, Who'da funk it?, Lykke Li, Florence and the Machine, The Smiths. Bjork forever.

I like artsy movies, comedies, sci-fi. I'm pretty sad Pleasant St. shut down and I'm not letting it go. I like tv and youtube, Parks and Rec, Star Trek, and Daria are my favorite things to watch lately.
The six things I could never do without
My glasses,
cuddling,
swimming (in natural bodies of water),
laughter,
lists,
friends.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to be somebody I like hanging out with because you spend your whole damn life with yourself. The history of the Earth. Fractals. Art projects and performance pieces that rarely come to fruition. How to convey to motorists that they need to give cyclists more room. My damage.
On a typical Friday night I am
pshhhh.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I haven't owned a razor since I was 15. I spend more time watching TV than reading but I'd like that to change.
You should message me if
You want to invite me to do something interesting, or you can make me laugh. You want to watch old episodes of Project Runway with me. You'll laugh at all my funny jokes.
