My self-summary
I came from a small town without much to do so I've learned to entertain myself. Simple card and magic tricks, darts and pool, hiking and biking, things like that. Due to small town living and the desire to learn I've completed many classes of combat training including; boxing, judo, Chinese fist-fighting, pole arm (staff), fencing, ken-do, broadsword, duel-blade, and a few other mixed marital arts. However I am Buddhist, this training is mostly a way to keep my body in shape and a form of meditation for me.

Ok now the to explain the Buddhist thing. I believe in their way of life, not so much the religion. I believe in kindness, compassion, harmony, but I'm well aware things don't always go that way. I've been a brawler of sorts but I never go out of my way for a fight, I'll only fight if something is worth defending.

I was trained as a chef and I love it... mostly. Co-worker/friends make it worthwhile but the hours I have are not the best.

Family heritage plays a bit in the things I do now and again. Such as the fact that I will sometimes wear a kilt when I go out to a bar. There's a fair bit of Irish and Scottish in me.

I am strong willed, adaptable, and surprisingly shy.
What I’m doing with my life
Contemplating a change in location.

Going back to college after the summer for a second degree.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh and smile especially at work.

Making great use of plastic gloves, food wrap, and tape for on-the-fly bandages at work, because sometimes you just have to improvise.

Understanding people and am always willing to listen. However I'm also very honest.

Other random things:
Hiking, pool, bowling, woodcarving, therapeutic massage, and field-dressing open wounds, because sometimes my friends get a dumb idea and... lets just leave it at that.
The first things people usually notice about me
People notice that I'm not exactly tall, all 5' 6" off me doesn't exactly tower over anyone, however, I believe I'm either "fun sized", or just "travel sized" for your convenience.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like almost every movie, comedies right to horrors, a variety goes a long way. Same for books and music, any kind is ok just as long as it can draw me into it. However once I start reading a book I fall asleep in about 45 minutes, normally people don't find me reading. It's more like they discover me sleeping in a chair with the intent of finishing the book.

I love Italian food, pastas, linguine, soups it's all delicious. Spicy foods also tend to allure me. Also being a cook means now and then I have the urge to try something very different as a meal. It doesn't always turn out the best but it was an adventure.
The six things I could never do without
Not in any particular order:
My hands
My relaxed work environment.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why does it feel so good to just get out of the ordinary and have a little fun.

That despite all my flaws, faults, and troubles, how do I manage to make others laugh.

I always swore I would never have a kid, but now I have this energetic little daughter that gives me all sorts of trouble. Years from now I hope I'm still her hero.
This is something I was never prepared for, I hope I'm at least half the father my dad is.
On a typical Friday night I am
Haha! I work Friday mornings now... that means I'm usually asleep on Friday night, definitely not as much fun.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I was first learning to fire-breath I burnt most of my facial hair off.

There is not much about me that i consider private, except for things that should be kept private, you know, dating like etc.
You should message me if
you want to know more about me. You've seen me around, or want to meet someone very interesting. Also feel free to wave at me when I'm at work, I may not know who you are but It'll keep me on my toes.
I am very forgetful so If I do not respond for a while, it just means I forgot to do my normal check-ins.
